Regarding Congested/Standard Worlds and New/Preferred World Bonuses (Nov. 21)

After implementing World population balancing incentives, we have confirmed a shift in the number of active players in each World.
Due to the creation of new characters by new players and use of the World Transfer Service, the statuses of Preferred and Congested Worlds have changed.

We thank you for your consideration and understanding as we continue our World population balancing incentives.

Based upon the current population, we are changing the status of each of the following Worlds as of today.

■Japan Data Center
▼Changed to Standard World
Carbuncle
Tonberry

■North American Data Center
▼Changed to Standard World
Gilgamesh

For the current status of character creation restrictions and Congested/Preferred Worlds, please check the link below.

Starting with the release of Patch 4.15, when the status of a World changes from New/Preferred to Standard, characters created when the World is New/Preferred will continue to receive their respective bonuses until 90 days after their creation.

However, please be aware that in order to continue receiving the bonuses even after the World is changed to Standard, players must log in during the time period between the release of Patch 4.15 and the World status review scheduled approximately a week after patch release.

We will continue to observe the number of players logged in and change the status of Worlds periodically in order to balance the population among Worlds. Please check the following link for more information regarding our population balancing incentives.
