You can view available space on your hard disk by selecting Settings on the XrossMediaBar, then System Information under System Settings. If you do not have at least 20GB of space available, you will need to upgrade to a larger hard disk.

- Features of the Mac version
The Mac version of FINAL FANTASY XIV was developed as an application that would only run on the Mac OS. For the development of the Mac version, we utilize third party porting middleware. Unlike the Windows version, which runs in a DirectX environment, the Mac version runs under OpenGL. Due to limitations in the architecture of these environments, rendering characteristics of FINAL FANTASY XIV, key assignments, Japanese language IME settings, performance and interface may differ from that of the Windows version with similar specs. Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.
If the game is running on a Mac machine that does not meet the above system requirements, performance may be significantly lower than that of the Windows version of the game. When purchasing the game, please ensure that your machine meets the system requirements above.
