What classes in 4.0 would you like to see?

Hello everyone!
Been daydreaming about 4.0 lately and wondering if anyone's looking forward to the same classes that I would like to see added.
Here's my 3 top list:
1) Dancer - as a melee version of Bard
2) Blue Mage - could be similar to Summoner's egi progression where class quests involving certain enemies lets you acquire skills from them.
3) Ranger - Actual. Physical. Non-hybrid. Purebred. Ranged. DPS!
What's in your top 3 (hopeful) classes for 4.0?

Blue Mage (could be a hybrid of everything really, or at the very least a support dps)
Geomancer (healer)
BST (Tank)
SAM (DPS)
RDM (Healer/Beneficial En-Spells)
Brawler as a gauntlet wearing tank.
Chemist as an item using healer.
Blue Mage as a support DPS.
BST?
I just want my beastmaster already

I think BST would make an interesting Tank, and it would give each role a pet-based job.
People would complain that it's too difficult since you'd have to micromanage both yourself to keep up your dps and your pet.
Even if they did something like how the current pet jobs are where the pet has a few abilities and the master has all the rest, and added some sort of stance where your enmity or a portion of it went to your pet, there would still be the issue of positioning and movement.

A good idea I don't think Pet Classes would be good as tanks the healers would not only need to keep the tank alive but the pet as well adding more stress on the healers
Samurai = katana base dps job
the others were already appeared in 2.0 and 3.0, so I just want Samurai :D

do not see ranger happening no no as it is essentially bard.

Which is essentially machinist?
duel guns I mean.. not hand cannon... yeah I know it is a long shot but facing truths machinist was a bomb on the released jobs and only a hand full play them.
Bard is just to much of a ranger for us to get a ranger job. Machinist and gunner could be different but most likely would not be so yus yus just to state, I would love to see it but I doubt it will happen just like ranger.
Maybe for beast master it would kinda be like a mount? Loads of damage but slow attacks and a larger hit box for balance? Different mounts to ride into battle with different abilities or attacks with just one or two skills or stances that are just for the master?
if they do beast master I see it being a flat out pet job like summoner without magic. Likely using something more like bleeds.
either that or they go the way of WoW and make it a druid type job making them take on beastial traits to become say.... a tank? xD
Personally I also want dancer as a support dps. Could work a little like astro only instead of heals and cards it's dps and dances. Stances and effects like cards for the dances while dpsing otherwise.
The chemist would be really neat too as heals. That one could be tricky, but how cool would it be to have "mix" as a skill
Dancer is another one of those jobs I think could work if they combined with something else like bard and ranger.
XIV still want that unique feel which is why we have astro. The only issue is getting said new jobs to bit well.
or master of the beast is effectively a BM Hunter, and so pet tanks, player is...pet support? (minus the massive dps BM Hunters have as a legit dps class)
As for ranger vs gunner, if think ranger is possible if they just slightly overhaul the bard class to have buff songs (+crit song, +def song, +phys atk power song) and make it a full time buffer, so that ranger is a proper dps class (maybe with very minor pet/hunter/tamer attributes, like 1 or 2 skills that summon a hunting dog or something for a limited time). they can both branch off archer, I would be fine with that.
I don't think talking with a pet would fly well for the duty finder and player base.
Titan works well for SMN... alone. Works well for groups with its enkindle aoe but otherwise falters.
If they wanted to make it into a pure tank job I would suspect bear stance or something.
Is not a matter of texting something new. Players and healers ignore pets so healing a pet as. Tank would probably not last well.
And I wanted a dual gunner for a while as well...cus machinist looks lame, in all honesty. who the f aims a rifle 1 handed? your bones could break from the knockback, making the only way it can work the way it does is because the gun is very weak. if they couldve at least made it 2h aiming animation and maybe make the current mch weapons BIGGER...like...a bazooka
well, ive had titan egi tank almost entire dungeon runs without issues. :o think if they made the tanking player heal the pet, it should be doable. healer can help too ofc. or they can just make pets a thing youre supposed to be able to target and heal.
Really does not matter that you CAN do it. Controlling the pet is not suppose to be the entire job. Essentially what you are suggesting is you be an npcs pocket healer while it tanks, which if u are healing and dpsing enough to keep the pet alive in a dungeon or an 8 man, the job is suddenly Required for static build because it is op. which is not the aim of a new job. The aim is to Fit not be required
Though to be fair, as u suggested, that was the way beastmaater worked in xi. However it was also the job players took to solo. Because their was no need for 5 others when u can manage everything alone xD.

Dancer and Corsair were merged into Astrologian/Machinist.
Red Mage so we can have En Spells, Enfeebling Spells and oh HASTE.
@Esper-they could do a simmiler thing to SMN where they give us 3 pets (examples-Wolf=DPS Bear=Tank Mandragora=support).
The only differance Would be Beast Master would be more up close and personal in fights.
Well yah, If it were to work the BST would have to have actions that transfer hate to their beast and perhaps a special DoT as part of "their enmity" combo. While the DoT is up the their beast builds hate more easily... similar to how Tank Stances work.
And to make up for the challenge perhaps it could be the "most flexible" tank. With a def beast, a mdef beast, and a "dps stance" beast.
@runa right which is what it would probably be more like. Btw SMN does not have a support pet.
We have tank melee caster. Scholar has support.
A bst Could have a buffer pet though. Which would be interesting but place them in brd mch placements >_<

Ah the eternal what if struggle... Personally I want to see:
1) RDM (support DPS)
2) Dancer (healer/support)
3) Samurai (tank)
What I don't want to see:
1) BLU (yes that's right, I don't like them)
2) BST (they were great in XI, I don't think they fit in the XIV world well)
3) PUP (like BST I think they were fine in the FFXI world, but would not fit well in XIV)

Green Mage=Support It would be interesting to see how it would be done.
Red Mage=DPS/Support
Blue Mage DPS/Support depending on the skill you get I'll would kill for lvl 5 Death :P
Give Ninja the Throw ability already it meh it just make me OCD when Ninjas don't have that skill.
Rip everything off Sabin skill set and add to the monk job. Would love Fire Dance, Air blade and Suplex please >_>

@Mahdi oh it a good thing I haven't done my relic weapon. But yeah I would be pissed if I accidentally threw my relic weapon away. D:
1) Samurai, or any DPS with a sword
2) A DPS with 2 guns (what I thought MCH would be)
3) Red mage sounds interesting, always willing to try new tanks

I would want SAM, BLU or RDM. Definitely those classes.

Tank: Berserker- High DMG/Vitality but slow. Minimal Armor but body infused with earth magic to create impenetrable skin.
DPS: Blade Master- Melee/Summoner magic hybrid. A user that can summon different weapons from an aether storage and change forms according to weapon; think Erza Scarlet from Fairytail or Gilgamesh from Fate/Stay. 3 different weapons that you can switch through according to the situation.
Healer: Blood Mage- Uses blood sacrifices to heal allies; dmg enemy, heal tank.
The other thing that might be interesting is a Job-combination system that can be accessed when you have 2 jobs at level 60. This would be optional, but would allow for some better cross class interaction, IMO. Combine PUG with BLM to create a class that allows you to infuse your attacks with fire, ice, or thunder magic. You can then level this new class to 70 or just level your standalone jobs to 70.
The thing is that they are almost guaranteed to follow the system they've already set up. What I mean is, each class/job has a weapon unique to itself and this will most likely be the case in the future. And I believe it was mentioned that Red Mage wasn't introduced yet because they're not sure how to make a jack-of-all-trades type without making it immensely under or overpowered while staying true to the job's history.
Personally, DPS=BST, Tank=Viking (or something similar), Healer=DNC
Sword (dual sword) using DPS...(not the Ninja)
Something like a Time Mage might be unique. Healer support that uses time magic to speed up healing on things like Regen. It would also be able to affect monsters with bleed type attacks and speed them up with the time magic. similar to haste and such. meh... just shooting from the hip.
Maybe a Knight. Jousts off the top of your choco.

Would love to see:
DNC (Dancer) as it was (and still is) in FFXI. A melee support.
COR (Corsair) I dreamt of Corsair as another ranged support class as most BRD I come across don't play songs and get a bit pissed when you ask for a song. Total waste of a great support job by making it a;so capable of dealing substantial damage (Bring back FFXI BRD).
SAM (Samurai) considering that DRK in FFXI was a damage dealer with a 2H weapon, would love that in FFXIV.
TANK a duel wielding shield bad assume with cannons under it if getting shot in the face with lazor blasters won't annoy you what will
DPS/SUPPORT gun blade red mage physical damage with magic bullet combos with shield and shell magic support regen wouldn't hurt
BEAST MASTER allowed to summon mounts to fight with direct magic just not as overkill as BLM
NECROMANCER/WITCH DOCTER as healer
Rune Fencer/Knight(tank) dual swords
Dancer (support DPS) single dagger. Have the dagger change positions depending on the attack instead of just backwards all the time like Rogue/Ninja.
And of course Samurai (DPS) katana. None of that tank stuff...
Red Mage (healer) lighter swords.
No name for the job, but I'd like to see one that has magic for a weapon. No book or staff. Maybe shows as gloves or something and they glow.
I think it would be cool to see a mace and shield wearing Cleric... but maybe too close to Paladin/White Mage... Its cool to think about though.
Red Mage: Magic Physical Attacks that work similar to the black mage rotation. Something with Flamestrike and Icestrike. They'd have one handed weapons that spec in Intelligence.
As for a new healer? I don't know what the class name would be called but it would work similar to the WAR.
They would have to use moves to get them 3 stacks of "Wraith" in order to use powerful healing moves rather than a SCHOLAR waiting 40 seconds to get Aetherflow for their big moves. DPS melee in Cleric Stance.

Im Hoping for Time Mage (Healing, well less healing and more Time state manipulation but you get my meaning)you know, Haste, Slow, Stop.
Blue Mage (DPS) I can see some moves using HP rather then MP and TP)
And Samurai (Evasion Tank Mid Armor class)
I want five classes come 4.0
Samurai - Katana. Fast paced, parry tank.
Red Mage - Rapier. Supportive, fast, caster dps. The caster equivalent of bards.
Necromancer - Scythes. Melee based healer.
Cannoneer - Hip cannons. Heavy hitting pure ranged physical dps. The dps equal to a black mage
Berserker - Great Hammer. Fast paced melee dps.
I also want sub jobs, but thats never gonna happen. :(
Puppetmaster and/or Samurai
And the PUP and histoire pet with healing ,blm ,dots, dps frame

The berserker already kind of exists if you think about it with Raubahn. He has two swords and is known to getting crazy mad and killing people. Red mage because at the end of 3.4 Alisaie is basically a red mage. And samurai because it is only fighting style not covered by dps already.
