Resistance is Futile Three Years Later (A few weeks before arrival)
The Garlean forces remained in the air attacking Limsa Lominsa, the lead city of the resistance. Fenris stood within the cities fortress deep underground meeting with the resistance finally after years of attempts. Despite the Dragon King having the greatest armada to stand against the Garlean Empire, the resistance cared little for either side. Only now do they contact him, in their darkest hour.
A few footsteps were heard entering the cave behind Fenris, Aeon, Vheo and Ghost. The looked back to see a dark skinned miqo'te man enter the room.
"She'll see you now, you leave your weapons here."
Fenris snickered at the thought and nodded to his guests.
"Aeon, stay here with our weapons my friend. We will be out shortly."
Aeon nodded to his king and stood careful guard over their weapons while they entered through the long tunnel ahead. After walking for a few moments they came to a big room where the young hyur midlander woman remained, leaning over a map and talking strategy.
"The Sirens won't last much longer out their without help. Your ship is to lay siege on the main ship in the air. Our anti airship weapons should suffice for at least taking down to the waters."
Another young miqo'te male with pale white skin stood before her listening intently.
"Aye, but if we are offering the Sirens reinforcement, where's mine?"
She looked back up at him, her hairs tail resting upon her shoulder while she grinned to him.
"I'm working on that right now Captain Rain."
Turning her attention as Fenris, Vheo and Ghost entered the room, she nodded towards her assistant behind them, whom shut a giant door behind them.
Vheo and Ghost readied to attack, until they noticed their king remaining still with his arms crossed.
"You two can stand down, Lady Runa is not likely to Willingly lock herself in with me. She hates me a little to much for that."
Her assistant walked over to her and brought forth his book, laying it upon the desk.
"Thank you Anterious"
She nodded to the miqo'te and leaded up, crossing her arms at the Dragon King.
"So the Tyrant himself comes to see me beg, how expected."
"I always Personally see to it when an army wishes to join my side."
"We still demand our independence."
"Your resistance is about to be wiped out at the source. Independence is to be lost one way or the other. Better the devil you know yes?"
"We have the weapons to take down airships."
Fenris snickered at her remark and remained unimpressed.
"As do I, you would be surprised how quickly an army of airships can be destroyed by an army of wyrms. Absorbing your warriors to my cause is I assure you, inevitable. You fall here by the Garleans, I destroy the Garleans and take it anyway. Or have you not noticed, I own every land surrounding your little island?"
"True, and you stretch your reach."
"Not by much, let me assure you here and now Lady Runa. If you refuse my assistance, your little island will starve and run out of clean water before they can even muster the strength to pillage any of mine villages."
"You would Dare threaten trade?!"
"Trade?"
Fenris uncrossed his arms and walked up to the desk. His tail wagging back and forth as he slammed a fist into the map, upon Limsa.
"Our trade between you and your people is naught but pity and My good graces. Your trades? Irrelevant. Fish, water, safe haven? Tell me what is it you are truly providing me? I want weapons, fighters, land!"
He raised his fist from the desk and sighed aloud, pushing his hair back. Sounds of explosions were heard from the outside. Clearly the Garlean forces were getting closer as thy continued to talk.
"I want a united Eorzea, that means All of Eorzea. Together we can destroy the Garlean Empire once and for all."
Runa crossed her arms caring little for his claims.
"You're still a dictator, word spreads when you had the Ul'dah Syndicate killed."
"They had that coming. Anyone who murders a child for money is worth nothing."
She kept her arms crossed looking at him with less annoyance then before.
"I suppose not all stories are true, how about your fabled brother?"
Fenris' ears twitched at her question and he shut his eye thinking of it for a moment. His mind wandered to the day he rushed to his brothers village. His heart sank when he never found him, considering he was likely killed by the Garleans. Opening his eye he put on a fake smile towards her.
"I assure you, naught but lies and whispers. If I had a brother, he would have been welcome with open arms long ago."
She thought long and hard for a moment looking to her assistant Anterious. He leaned in and began to whisper into her ear. Leaning back she sighed aloud and turned back to Fenris.
"Very well, we will do what you require of us. Save our-"
Several ground shaking explosions were heard over head. Instantly everyone looked up and looked back at each other.
"What was that?"
Runa looked to Fenris in hopes he would know.
"Something new.."
Rushing out of the room, they made their way back to Aeon and grasped their weapons. Moving back to the top, they all looked over head to see two glowing orbs or light. One slowly descended from the sky and hit the ground causing a massive explosion where the aetheryte once stood. As the light cleared, they looked upon a young miqo'te woman with white hair, kneeling upon the ground. She was covered in a body suit colored white with silver lining.
As she stood up, two blades of light energy appeared in her hands, while a visor placed down over her face.
"Project S, operations functional, mission, seek Resistence leader and destroy."
Turning her head she looked upon them immediately and disappeared. Reappearing in a flash of light she found her blades clashing against Fenris' axe.
"Down kitten, You're not doing anything."
Grasping her by her neck, he quickly tossed her away and pounced at her. Bringing forth his axe, he quickly smashed it into the ground, realizing he missed. She reappeared behind him, uncaring for him while she moved closer to Runa.
"Aeon!"
Aeon nodded to Fenris and quickly covered Runa as Two blades pierced his back.
"Grrrrr..."
A red orb appeared over them and Aeon quickly changed forms. His red wings stretching out as he turned back to the girl. She disappeared and reappeared with his hand around her neck. Desperately she tried to free herself, only to find he was far faster then her. Grasping the visor upon her head, he squeezed and destroyed it.
As she fell to the ground, he realized she was being controlled by the crown connected to the visor and backed away. Reverting back to his hyur form, he tossed the control device to Fenris and looked back to the last glowing orb.
"She may yet live, however, that thing is not landing."
Fenris looked back towards it and noticed it was beginning to glow more and more. Quickly he looked back to see the all six of them standing in disbelief.
"Grab her, Get the dragons and get the hell out of here!"
Runa stood firm and looked upon him in disappointment.
"What of my people!?"
"Their is no time now, Whatever that damned thing is, it's going to wipe this place out."
"So Destroy it!"
"Destroying it may just set it off faster. Call them, tell anyone out their to get to safety."
Rushing to the dragons, everyone mounted upon them. Runa did so, slightly uncomfortable as she looked to Anterious and Rain whom stood upon the island still.
"Teleport away you two, I will meet you at the boarder!"
They nodded and quickly began to teleport away. Suddenly the orb began to spark over and over. Everyone looked to each other and quickly lifted off, flying as fast as they could away from Limsa Lominsa. Fenris looked back to see it as a bright light energy sprung forth from the orb and filled the sky. As it all concentrated into one spot, it aimed down towards the area and a large energy beam of light enveloped the entire isle.
The ground began to quake and a massive explosion followed. As the light finally dimmed, they looked back to see naught but fire, smoke and ash filling the entire area that was once Limsa Lominsa.
"What the seventh hell was that?"
Aeon looked down to the young miqo'te girl still unconscious on the dragon. Her white hair reminded him of his wife and he bit his lip until it bled.
"I think she will know something my King."

Fenris sat back in his chair listening to the astrologian talking upon another matter he had not expected.
"By our calculations sire, the lesser moon... Dalamud ..... is descending upon us."
His twin three year old daughter and son began to play with their mother Kali over in the corner. Grabbing his attention, he turned to them and smiled. Turning back to the astrologian he sighed aloud.
"So this is the red star in the sky. Where is it's destination?"
She hesitated and tried to brace herself for answering.
"It-... It's on it's way here my King... We are unsure how or why... but if the polarity is not slowed soon, it will be touching down within two months. It's size alone could destroy this entire kingdom."
Fenris rested his head upon his hand, gently rubbing his brow upon the thought. Aeon approached from the entrance and motioned to the astrologian to leave. As she turned around, he spoke to his king.
"The girl, she is awake. Pan is eager to start the interrogation."
"and Runa?"
"Even more."
He remained silent for a moment and lifted his eyes to look Fenris in the face.
"You know what is on my mind right now my King?"
"Your wife and daughter, I know my friend. This does not bold well for any of us. It seems they are somehow creating weapons of light energy to use against us. The girl, she should have some information. I am sure of it."
