Desdemona looked around as she and Runa stopped in the middle of the room filled with amber glowing, crystalized walls. Runa reached up and touched a piece of crystal with her magitek arm. Able whispered in her mind as she touched it.
"Runa, this is strange... I can hear voices."
"What?"
Des' eyebrows raised as she glanced towards Runa curious.
"I did not say anything."
"I know, I was not talking to you."
"You're a bit of an odd one aren't you?"
"Able said he can hear voices when I touch the crystal.. I wonder what that could mean.."
"Able? Is that your arm or something?"
"No!"
Cackling began to echo through out the area. Immediately Des and Runa looked around to see nothing but reflections of themselves coming from the crystals.
"I'm getting a strange feeling that we're being watched."
Runa looked over at Des and sighed aloud.
"What was your first guess?"
"Would have to be the crystal surroundings. Something is behind them, I'm sure of it."
Runa walked closer to a crystal and looked hard upon its shape. Walking next to it she put her head next to it and suddenly her eyes opened wide in dismay as she realized something.
"Oh dear Hydaelyn..... How?!"
Des walked slowly towards where she was and suddenly came to the conclusion she did.
"This crystal formation is shaped like..."
"Like an Elezen!"
They looked closer to see the entire body was encased in crystal. Des touched the crystal and quickly retracted her hand as she realized she had touched a woman's breast. Shaking her head she quickly placed it upon the Elezens head and closed her eyes for a moment. Feeling the aether flow through it she could tell it was indeed once a mortal being.
"How is this possible?"
Des glanced to Runa whom seemed rather worried.
"From what I gather, something, somehow, found a way to crystalize the atherial essence of mortal beings. The horrific part, is they are completely alive... and aware."
"That is horrific! What sort of creature would do this!? WHY!?"
"A creature whom can make an endless supply of aether out of a body? Let me think why for a moment."
Runa looked at Des slightly disturbed at her reasoning. Realizing Runas displeasure, Des smiled a bit and turned her head to her side.
"Sorry, I have the mind of a scholar but am rather blunt when it comes to truth."
"So, these people..... where did they come from? How did they get here?"
"Likely slaves of the Allagan Empire back in the day. Offering mortals as sacrifices to the darkness they worshiped. Poor souls never had a chance."
"What did this though? What could have?"
As Des went to answer, they heard something which made both their spines tingle as they looked towards each other. Slithering from afar as it seemingly moved closer and closer. A voice filled the room and they knew instantly it was after them. The feminine voice made them cringe as they listened to her speak.
"Such Beautiful children of light..... So full of aether, so full of life. Beauty in every single pour of those bodies."
Runa bit her lower right lip as she quickly motioned her hair a bit to try and hide her face.
"Why does someone so young try to hide her beauty so? Hiding behind your hair does not make you any less.... attractive my dear."
"That's not creepy at all.."
Runas mind filled with Ables voice as he spoke to her.
"Cover your eyes, I know who this is."
"You do?!"
"Cover your eyes, do not let her look into them or you will be trapped like the rest with me!"
She glanced towards Des and quickly grasped her sash from her waist.
"Cover your eyes"
"Are you nuts?"
"If she looks at us in the eyes we'll become living crystals like these poor saps."
"Oh my, someone told my little secret! Who could be in the mind of the girl I wonder?"
"None of your damned business!"
"Hehe, Oh I am going to have so much fun with you when I crystalize your body... I'll make sure to remove that armor and put you on display!"
Runa blushed a bit as she quickly covered her eyes. Able spoke within her mind again as she grasped her blade.
"I will give you sight of aether, but be careful, all these crystalized people have aether as well, it is near blinding in this room."
"Okay... Des, can u see aether?"
"Aye, little trick Urianger taught me."
"Use that."
As they concentrated, they began to see the atherial current of the area flow rapidly. Several petrified body shapes could be seen, as if stuck in an ever lasting picture.
"This is creepy.."
"Yeah... not a fan of having to see the truth behind the beauty."
The voice of the woman was heard over their heads and the quickly glanced up to look at her with their blind vision.
"This will make for an interesting fight. None the less, you two Will be mine I swear it."
She slithered down very fast and neither Runa nor Des were ready as she quickly made her way between the two and slapped Runa with her long snake like tail. Immediately it slithered around her and squeezed her body, holding her from moving her arms, as it began to lift her off the ground.
"Shite shite shite shite!"
Desperately she struggled with her magitek arm. However, the mass of the tail had pushed it hard into her side, restraining her every movement. Des quickly parried the creatures attacks as she slashed towards Des with her arms. Quickly Des dodged an attack at her head and she moved under the creature and slashed at her gut. To her dismay, her blades hit something hard and she did nothing to the creature.
"What?!"
"Oh, shame isn't that? You don't know what you are slashing at do you? Poor girl, do I even have a weak spot? Don't you want to know?"
"Everyone does."
Disappearing, Des reappeared and slashed at the creatures back and arms only to have her blades fail again. As she remained in the air, the creature quickly grasped her with her hands and immediately smashed Des hard into the ground.
"Gahh!! rrrrr..."
Her body pinned down by the massive hand, she despirately tried to move around, to no avail.
"Hmmm... I want to play with my toys a bit.. Hehe... Lets see shall we?"
Bringing one of her claws up towards the sash covering Desdemonas eyes she quickly cut right through it, leaving a mark upon Des' face.
"Ahhh! Bitch!"
"Now now, keep those beautiful eyes closed till I am ready for you! Hehahahahaaha!"
Placing her nail at Des' collar bone, she slowly moved it down, cutting through Des' shirt without an issue. Behind her Runa continued to struggle. As she did, it felt as if her grip was becoming stronger.
"Grrrrrrrahhhh!!!! DAMN IT LET ME GO!"
"Quiet back there! I want you nicely displayed later."
As Des shirt slowly slipped revealing the middle of her breasts and stomach, the creature moved to her pants, adjusting her hand to rest harshly against Des neck and arms. Slowly the nail made its way to her ankle and left a large cut all the way down her body. Removing her hand from Des, she smiled as des attempted to heal her wounds.
"Bad girl! I did not say you could heal!"
Quickly she slashed at Des back and ripped her clothing into shreds as well as left giant gashes upon her back.
"Ahhh..rrrrr..... Runa don't look... just don't open your eyes no matter what you hear!"
"Des don't! DAMN IT DON'T!"
Des covered her body and leaned to her other side as she opened her eyes to get a good hard look at the creature.
"Her head... and her tail-"
Her voice stopped as she felt her body become crystalized, starting from her toes and making its way all the way up to her head in a mere few seconds.
"Don't worry Runa... Don't"

"One down, She looks very pretty as a crystal! Mmmm... so shiny too! Hehehahaha!"
Runa felt a tears forming as she continued to struggle.
"Bitch..."
"Runa, you need to think. What was she talking about!?"
"She's Dead! What does it matter!?"
"What was she talking about?!"
"Her head.... her tail..."
Runa snapped as she came to a realization.
"Her weakness!"
"Cleaver little bitch... I'm going to really have to make sure your in a great positon!"
Runa concentrated for a moment as she slowly moved her hand towards her magitek arm.
"I hate this.."
Pressing a few buttons she bit her lip as she felt her arm deattach. Falling out of the creatures hold, she quickly summoned forth her blade and slashed through the tail.
"GRRRAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! YOU BITCH!"
The creature looked at the remains of her tail and became enraged as she drastically slashed towards Runa. Jumping over the creatures head, Runa heard the creatures arm smash into the ground and she landed upon it, running up it as fast as possible as she jumped up to the head. To her dismay, the creatures hair came to life and several vines grasped around her three limbs holding her away. Grasping the blade, Runa quickly slipped through the ones upon her arms, only to have a few more continue to try and hold her back.
"Stop Struggling!"
Below her the creature continued to try and get her arm free as she reached her other arm up to her head.
"I'll have you yet!"
Slashing through her hair again, Runa quickly plunged the blade through the creatures head and looked up to see the arm stop. Twisting the blade, Runa charged up power and blasted right through the creatures head, killing it instantly. As it fell over, Runa rolled to her side and hit the ground hard. Picking herself up she looked over towards Des remains, and removed her sash from her eyes.
"Des..."
Kneeling down she looked to her arm and felt tears form in her eyes. Blinding light filled the room and she looked back to Des, The crystalized body had shattered and in it's place, a miqo'te laid.
"What?"
The miqo'te stood up and looked to her body, sighing. Quickly she glanced over to see her furry tail and smiled as she twitched her ears freely.
"Oh Awesome! I'm a miqo'te again!"
Runa kept very still as she looked at the woman confused.
"What?!"
"Oh... Hey love! something wrong?"
