The "Queen Marbol" stood tall within the sealed room as its roots dug deep into the grounds. Its several heads peeked from the ground as they screamed, making us all cringe. Immediately several of us began to cast fire spells, attempting to destroy the creature as fast as possible. The first few hit the creature and started it ablaze. All the heads began to roar loudly as their colors swiftly changed from the green tinge to a bright orange all around.
"Is it working?!"
Runa asked as she began pressing several buttons upon her arm. Quickly a small device appeared from around her false arm wrist and covered her hand. A large flame thrower released, attempting to cinder one of the arms to ash. Quickly she grinned to herself, until she heard the creature give off a different roar.
"That does not sound like it's in pain..."
"Everyone stop what you are doing now!"
We all stopped and glanced over to Master Denz, whom was floating high in the air.
"This Marbol is absorbing your elemental damage! It appears to be nearing a point of explosive-"
Before he could finish his explination the Marbol erupted, consuming the entire room in a flame. As the flames dispersed, Denz floated over us, holding a large bubble around our position. As he let his arms rest, it faded, clearly taking a lot of energy to protect us all.
"Blast it all!"
Des quickly grasped her bow and aimed at one of the heads. Releasing a powerful shot, she decimated one of the branches and watched as it burst with the energy, causing a small eruption around the room. Her ears twitched as she glanced over at Pockets.
"Blast it with water little Potato!"
Pockets raised her eyebrow, seemingly hurt by her words.
"I AM NOT A POTATO!!!"
"Do it!"
Pockets quickly released a large water blast, covering the Queen Marbol. Slowly the queens tinge began to return to the green it once had. Desdemona glanced over at me and smiled
"Blast it with lightning!"
Summoning my staff, I aimed at the queen and released a large blast of lightning, consuming the creature, until it began to change colors again, changing to a violet color.
"Alright that's enough Red."
She glanced over at Skan whom was standing beside Cleo.
"You two! Blast it with dark aether!"
They nodded and quickly blasted the creature with several abyssal drain spells until they ran out of mana. The creature began to change again, attempting to counter said effects. Darkness however seemed to do the trick. As its skin became black as night, it became weak and its leafs began to deteriorate. Master Denz quickly concentrated and began to create something over the Queen Marbols main head.
As it finally crafted, the Marbol opened its mouth wide as it screamed. A massive ice glacier meteor dropped deep into the creatures mouth. Screaming in pain, the creature attempted to retreat into the ground, until it was to late. As it entered its dirt once more, the grounds become covered in ice, killing it instantly.
We all glanced over at Denz, whom quickly adjusted his shades and slicked his hawk back. Nodding towards us, he began to float towards the door. The rest of us cautiously began to walk behind him, attempting not to slip upon the ground. Looking up at the door, I shrugged for a moment, glancing to Master Denz, whom was pondering to himself. Glancing over at me he shook his head.
"Well? What are you waiting for girl? Open the door."
"Wha-?"
I stood confused for a moment as I looked up at the door which previously injured my hand.
"What do you want me to do?!"
Master Denz raised a brow slightly disappointed with my answer.
"Shock the bloody thing!"
"Oh..."
I glanced at the door and quickly held my hand out, releasing a large bolt of lightning. The door shocked alive as if the solution was ever so simple. As it raised above us, i glanced to Master Denz with a confused look.
"But..."
He shook his head as he floated by.
"The solution to your own problems are often the most simple ones and over thought."
Sighing, I pouted for a moment and walked beside everyone else as we made our way further in.

Fenris roared in pain as he felt the claws of Fenrir rip into his chest. Knelling down, he placed a hand over it and tried to heal it up fast. Fenrir snickered as he paced back and forth. His tail wagging as if to show his excitement.
"Come now boy, I know you to be far better then this! What happened to all that Warrior of Light power? Or was it perhaps, something you can only tap into with the presence of your brother?"
Fenris felt his chest heal up enough to move as he quickly stretched his muscles, looking at Fenrir with distaste.
"Do not speak of my brother. You know nothing of our bond."
Fenrir grinned, letting his fangs show as he taunted his heritage.
"Oh don't I?"
Quickly Fenrir attempted to smack his palm into Fenris' chest, only to be parried and quickly countered in return. As he went to knee, he was matched with another knee and continued to be matched at all angles.
"You think I did not have a brother like you? It is after all, in our blood to have matching brothers ever few hundred years. My brother was just like him. Only difference being, we were born twins."
A smack across the face made Fenris stagger backwards as he struggled to hold his balance. His body was becoming tired and his limited vision was now effecting his ability. Placing himself back in a fighters stance, he readied for more.
"My brother died defending me and Thousands of innocent people in the past. His sacrifice would not be honored however. No, the Allag did a great job at hiding his heroics, as they did with many. The history books will not read the truth, that it was one miqo'te whom not only stood between an army, but decimated their forces before his body finally disintegrated... channeling the pure light aether of Hydaelyn. He is the man of which your entire family exists upon."
"For I did not bare children in the same manner. No, my very being, my dna was altered at the core of whom I am. I am no longer a mortal being as yourself. I am an esper. One with near primitive instinct which cost me my own heritage to follow."
Fenris shrugged for a quick second as he twitched his ears.
"So whats your gain in this? Why come after me? Whats the goal for you in all this?"
Fenrir grinned again, his body covered in spiked ice up and down as his muscles stretched out more, making him appear much taller.
"As with all of my kind, I suffered. Spending countless years imprisoned so I could learn how to control my power. In the end of it all, I still remained the most.... untamed. The people I have come to call my friends? These are people whom look to finally grasp their own freedoms. Control over Eorzea. This is how we will take our freedom .... as well as a few other things."
"What other things? Why is this so important to you?"
Fenrir stood very still as he looked his descendant in the eye.
"It is not for me that I side with them. It is for you. It is for your people!"
Fenris stood very still as he listened to the old miqo'tes words.
"Our country has suffered from an enemy we could never hope to win against. Now, after one thousand years.... our people Dare to Bow to them? Dare to forgive them?!"
"We started the war!"
Fenris exclaimed, attempting to stray the old miqo'tes mind.
"We sure did. However, who was it that decided we should forsake those whom have fought and died along the way. The countless innocent victims, men, women, children..... ALL FODDER FOR A WAR YOU WOULD TURN YOUR BACKS FROM!?"
Fenris remained quiet, unsure of what to say. It was true, despite the ever uneasy peace his country wanted, he could not help but think of the long battles before and those whom fell with them.
"How many more will we forsake in the line of duty? How many children must bare witness to their families and friends, homes and futures become a smoldering blaze? You think peace is possible? Nidhogg was one of Many of his kind to keep us in a warring state far before we would turn to killing and eating his brood mates eyes."
"That does not make our actions any better!"
"No? What of the Real Bahamut? Do you think he ever wished for peace between his kind and ours? Midgardsormr was the only wyrm whom cared enough for those with limits to time. His sway was what often kept his children at bay. None the less, he to would not interfere with what they wanted."
Fenrir disappeared, and reappeared beside Fenris, not attacking, only starring at him for a long moment.
"History. I have seen so much of it as it is created in my lifetime. Without knowing the history... The True history? We are doomed to repeat it. Our people bend knee to a false hope while thy enemy is readying his forces to destroy you once and for all. Do you think yourselves capable of countering him now? While your barriers remain destroyed, your weapons falter under the snow and ice which pelts you?"
Fenris remained quiet as he looked down upon his dragoon armored gloves. Shaking his head, he glanced back towards Fenrir.
"No matter how much I want to argue with you, I can not. You are right in so many ways. However..."
Placing himself back into a fighting stance he bore his fangs towards the old Miqo'te with a big grin.
"We have a right to at least try to make peace. We have a right to try and prosper in the end. That is what the true goal is. As you said yourself, we decided to fight those whom likely, we can not win against. The suffering our people have endured, we show our strength to be higher then that of any normal Eorzean. Yet we will forever be mocked should we fail at peace with those we brought torment towards."
Fenrir shook his head, disappointed with his descendant.
"How unfortunate. Tis fine.... I will just have to teach you the truth myself, even if it kills you."
Readying for battle, the old miqo'te raised his ice covered fists and charged.
