Joe's Pinball/DD/FF XIV Stream, 9/23/2019

Public
Did some Pinball (both FX3 and Arcade) on Saturday. Went all right, nothing really stood out about the session. Got royally screwed when playing Dr. Dude though. That was the kind of thing that makes me take hiatuses from Pinball lol.

Oh, forgot to mention on Friday: I did a few workouts that went very badly:

Click to showClick to hide
Wide grip push-ups (works more of the chest)
Dumbbell chest flyes (both flat and incline)
Dumbbell bench presses
Dumbbell pullovers
Dumbbell chest flyes (both flat and incline)
Hammer curls (more effective than standard bicep curls, since they also develop your brachialis muscle, which lies underneath your bicep, and your brachiordialis, which is your outer forearm muscle.)
I couldn't do the Arnold shoulder press or his bench presses since I accidentally got the shoulders involved in the dumbbell flyes, and they ended up hurting after a while. *sigh*

And on Sunday, Once again I tried my hand at making a video game, this time a text-based RPG (didn't turn out to be a game at all, but gotta start somewhere). The results: I . . . . . kinda like this!

And chances are, I might stream this more often, although details would still need to be ironed out. Oh, and I also played a few records during the stream as well, which were:

The Residents - Eskimo
Devo - Duty Now for the Future
Blood, Sweat, and Tears - Self-Titled 2nd Album

Aaaaaaaand on Monday morning I got in a damn good workout this time. I learned a little trick recently about training your chest: Keep your shoulder blades in as much as possible! That helped keep my shoulders from coming up during some of the lifts (bench presses and flyes come to mind) and helped increase my intensity. But otherwise it was:

Click to showClick to hide
The usual Wide-grip push-ups (works more of the chest. Also performed an incline version, via a pull-up bar that's useless for doing pull-ups)
Dumbbell chest flyes (regular and incline)
Dumbbell bench presses (decided to forego the Arnold version this time, since my shoulders are already developed enough)
Dumbbell pullovers
Crush-grip goblet sumo squats (new exercise for me. It also trains your chest, via the "crush grip" on the dumbbell handle)
Sumo squats (Trains more of your inner thighs. The rest of my leg muscles are big enough, from doing manual labor/heavy lifting for so many years lol)
So yep, it was all about the chest and inner thigh today.

But for today's session today, it was all mat gathering, like usual. Trying to get my crafting and gathering classes geared up, since they're all hovering around level 77, when the next tier of gear becomes available. Retainers too, since they all got level 77 today. A whole metric-ton of work still to be done lol.

And damn! Lots of people on this time, including Ser_Loin_of_Beef, someone I haven't seen in a long time. It really, really made all the mat grinding a lot more tolerable. So, if you guys read this, thank a bunch!

And the vinyls I spun this time around were::

The Cure - Disintigration
Metallica - Live at The Playhouse. Winnipeg, Canada. December, 1986
Public Enemy - Yo! Bum Rush the Show
Sheila E - The Glamorous Life

Aaaaalrighty then! Time to call it a night <Take care.> everyone. And see you all on Wednesday. (streaming I know not what yet on Tuesday). ;)>

Spinning LP records while doing some mat farming, possibly some crafting as well. More fun fun. :|
