Real good session today. My city is really kicking ass right now, aside from the logjammed traffic (mostly due to AI pathing issues, as in, it always takes the
SHORTEST route, not the fastest. Like, even if there's an out of the way subway line that would get them from point A to point B while bypassing all the heavy traffic they'll still join the traffic jam anyway. Really?). Although on the downside, I now
HAVE to keep the game speed at the slowest and/or pause the game just to do something minor, otherwise it almost becomes a slide show. So, we'll see tomorrow whether I'll decide to keep going or start yet another city.
Saturday Night/SundayWatched episode 18 of Dragon Ball. So now Goku & Krillin are getting trained by Master Roshi, in preparation for the upcoming martial arts tournament. Pretty much
Karate Kid wax-on-wax-off type stuff. And no pedo-perv this episode, so this one's a rarity lol.

Turned off my infinite money cheat this session, so I can try to get out of debt.
I
LOVE the fact that the game still records your current cash-on-hand, even with infinite $$$. And after a long time spinning my wheels, I got out of the red. After that I just started working on loosening up some of the traffic jams in my city. Seemed to work. I basically created a "service entrance" in my city, an area where the delivery trucks can enter and exit, and nowhere else. I also constructed more bridges across the river, giving my citizens more travel options, so they're all not having to go through one single way.
Traffic is definitely more dispersed now, if not lighter.

Shorter than normal session, due to lack of sleep and the need to get this blog post off before 7pm,
when the weather is supposed to get really bad. But otherwise, I expanded my city a little bit, but then cried "No Mas!" because of how slow and laggy everything is, due to city size. So I ended up starting another one, but will probably cancel that one, due to poor resource placement (this map was a "tropical" map, with lots of ore deposits, but hardly any fertile land for agriculture). Gotta be able to go green!
Okay, gotta call it a night, guys. Lots of shit to do.
