Why do they call it 'Early Access' when there is clearly no access to even be had?
It's not even a big queue, it's just simply another 2002 error as soon as you click Start in the launcher window. This has to be the biggest bait and switch catastrophe to date for SE. This is so bad, and they knew it was coming. Not just for the expansion, but for necessities for the game. Yet again, they sit on their hands and did nothing but rake in the cash on sales from the Online Store and merchandise orders but do nothing for the infrastructure.
This is a failure they need to own up to. It's so bad, they make articles about the login error and just pass it off as 'duly noted' and standard operating procedure - the new normal for their NOC operations.
I felt bad for Yoshi-P when he announced his two-week delay. Not anymore though, he should be embarrassed for SE for how they choose to run their lacking infrastructure.
Servers have been an issue for YEARS folks, not months. They had the opportunity to make it right well before any chip shortage. They got greedy.
Yes! This is so unacceptable, and I should have never bought the early access! This shows they're just very greedy and don't really care about the players!
Yeah, how dare they not increase server capacity for this expansion!
Not like there is a shortage of server chips or anything.

Weird, I think this only happens on NA or EU servers.
I had several 2002 errors on the first day, it literally took me 50 minutes to get in.
But after that it was smooth sailing, no issues at all.
I think the point of Early Access is a clever way to reduce load on actual release days. If there were no Early Access, the 7th would be a much larger mess. Would they should do instead is just selective beta access.

Would you rather SE not release Endwalker for another 12-18 months -- and, if COVID is the reason, that would be the new STARTING BID???
