New to Balmung! LF Adventuring Buddies & RP tips!

Hi everyone! I have recently started FFXIV back up due to Stormblood's pending release and after some nudging from a friend, transferred to Balmung. The crux of any MMO is the community, and I wantbecome part of Balmung's community.
I am a newbie who has just hit 50 as a monk [ilevel115] and am currently slogging through MSQ to get to Heavensward. I was wondering if anyone who is also semi-new wanted to do Heavensward with me when Stormblood comes out (if you havent already) or just go questing/leveling/play triple triad together!
I am also looking into trying RPing in Eorzea, and would love some advice for how to start.
A few RP tips
1. learn the lore and make sure your character fits within it.
2. Your character is no more powerful than any other character.
3. You can be unique without being "gifted". No superheroes.
4. If your action would affect another player's character, always attempt rather than execute, allow the other player to decide how it affects him.
5. join PF events or chat with people who welcome walk-ups to practice.
Depending on what your looking for hang out/stay out the quicksand tavern.

/em uses his unique snowflake godlike muscles to easily dodge then activates his half vampire/half moogle/half magic girl reflexes to upskirt into the air, summoning his childhood friend bahamut to aid in the battle.

It's true, and it is our duty, as lore focused RPers, to pretends they don't exist.

I'm new as well and just started heavensward. I wouldn't mind having someone to play with. I'm normally on during the late afternoons or evenings if you wanna party up. Oh and I've been wanting to get into rp as well but I'm at a loss on how to go about it.
