I am planning to switch to Veena Viera in a little over three weeks. I know how I will look like, and how I will sound. There won't be too much of a dropoff in how I look and sound, because I believe that when choosing to play as a new race, simplicity matters. No over the top long ears. No odd facial marks or features. No different colored eyes or hair.
My objective, when I do my adventuring, is to not ignore my roots and remember that I am still me, the same surfer girl and pianist from outside Tokyo out of game, the multi-talented hunter, crafter and gatherer in game. The hair styles available aren't exactly compatible with how I look like as my regular Hyur form, but I am fine with it. So now the waiting game is on, as the days count down to something new and bold on the horizon.
Meanwhile, I knock down a few extra FATEs, silence Tamamo no Gozen (a.k.a. Kyubi of the Nine Tails) and get a headband and a new furnishing and a new Dark Knight glamour, do a couple of A-rank hunt trains and upgrade my Samurai/Monk hand armor, and now, the reborn Chtholly Nota Seniorious nears reaching level 70 as a miner. That means all my retainers are going to be at level 70. No further leveling will take place unless I do a job that I am level to 80 and my retainer happens to do that job or class. That won't be until later this year, when I test myself against Titania and Innocence, two mean primals that mean serious business.
Finally, I now have a new uniform set that my retainers, my squadron, Kurenai and Zhloe Aliapoh are wearing. Tamamo Headband dyed Pastel Pink, Faire Joi pastel pink, False Nails pastel pink, Summer Morning Tanga and the Emperor's New Boots. Simple, efficient movement, with an emphasis on exhibiting fluid fitness and assertiveness. Thus is my new Pink Wind uniform for my subjects. Adkiragh, since he is a guy, doesn't get any changes to his outfit. Important exception.
