Living the good life of a pirate. The freedom to enjoy the open ocean and step dance to eld sea shanties of Astral Eras past. It is for this reason that I am locked in with the Maelstrom, the only grand company of Eorzea with the most realistic of military salutes. And it is for this reason that I chose to max level my red mage. The Estoqueur gear, as it's called, is not just job gear with stats; it's a glamour disguised as a job gear.
Eventually I will get some stronger gear for this alt job, but the Estoqueur gear and Aeneas is very much a pirate outfit. Yes, a pirate outfit, and one of those most aesthetically relevant glamours I ever had the honor of obtaining over in the Tempest. That's why I wanted to finish leveling red mage. It isn't to use this job as a regular hunting job so to speak. It's because I wanted the clothes and arm so I can have a drink with my old mate Rhoswen Leach and chat about the new influx of adventurers choosing to engage in the arcane arts or maybe reminisce on those formative days when the Lominsans finally chose to take a stand against Garlemald with Admiral Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn leading the fray.
Red Mage is now the fifth class/job to reach 80 on my end, and now the scene turns to astrologian, where I plan to do some card slapping, card flashing, and cardmongering to get another legendary job glamour set. I always liked having a side hobby of fortune teller...though my husband doesn't rate that highly, understandably.
