Housing is awful. There are no words better than these three words, and While I continue to vent my frustration I am really at this point just coming to terms with housing as a whole. However with coming to terms with housing I have come to a sudden realization: I will never get a house.
Housing at its current state is unpredictable and full of flaws that are disadvantageous to any new or veteran players that wish to have any part in housing. There are FCs that wont have the opportunity to work in workshops, there are botanists that wont have the chance to fulfill there hope of gardening, and there are housing decorators that wont be able to decorate a house. There are multitudes of content that many players will not even get the chance to explore, and that is all because FFXIV developers do no wish to put in more housing or are lack of funds for housing.
Whichever the case this has just lead me to come to my conclusion that I will never get a house. Hopefully it will change, when they decide to turn on the demolition timers or maybe they just scratch ward style housing and switch to instance based housing. However, as housing as housing stands now it is the worst pieces of content in this game (yes even worst than Pagos), and until there is ANY changes made to the housing as a whole I will continue to remain hopeless about housing.
TLDR: I have given up hope in housing and will not even try to mess with housing until the developers have changed anything to the current housing system
Honestly, the BIGGEST issue of this is simply the housing demolition is STILL turned off after 8 months.
I don't care what people say about it, it freed houses up that were no longer wanted and allowed others to acquire the land. When it was active, literarily everyone I know was able to get a house easily; and Honey, that is a LOT of people. ;-)
And don't get me started on WHY it is off. Seriously, if people can't afford $15 every 60 days for a game sub, they have some MAJOR RL issues.
Bragging about your friends list Annabell in some random blog? Wow...
