They can be used only by PC players though. In addition you can also write with other character sets (Japanese, Cyrillic...).
PS4 players can see them, but not enter them (or if we can, I'd like to know how)
Just out of curiosity, how do you usually input them? I used to have a couple alt-codes memorized but I long since forgot them. Or do you copy-paste them whenever you need them?

I searched for options but haven't found any yet.
It seems you'd have to copy and paste it like I do on the PC.
I tried to copy and paste from a site on my bf's PS4, but pasting with Ctr + V didn't work. :<
Maybe there is a different way you PS4-people can copy and paste. ^^
Google says:
"In the on-screen keyboard, there should be a "..." button right below the space bar. Press that, then hit "Select" to start selecting the text you want to copy. ... To paste text, use the same "..." button below the spacebar, then select "Paste" from the menu that appears."

Any1 knows if and when, how i use em on Playstation?
ALT + 3 is for the heart. Holding ALT and then using numbers on the keypad will give you different results.
