(A Quick warning) This story arc will have several spoilers from Shadowbringers. Unlike previous stories however, I will not be touching to much on the story itself as Shadowbringers is Incredibly good and needs not be told here. If you wish to know the story, play the game and go through the story. <3
*Am I beyond redemption? All that I did, I did to help everyone. That was what I told myself. But the truth was I was hateful. No one was going to stand in my way and no one could. To live that life, and know what it cost me, I know I must pay for my crimes against those I love and those whom trusted me. If I could speak to them once more, could I even ask for forgiveness?*
The container within the Crystal Tower opened, releasing me to gently touch down to the ground. I stretched my muscles for a few moments before the Crystal Exarch walked into the room. I glanced to him and smiled slightly, letting him know I was okay.
"How long this time?"
"A mere few days. Your rest cycle seems to have lowered all around. Is that a good thing?"
I glanced down to my bare self for a moment shaking my head at him.
"Not exactly. But, none the less, I feel I am in great condition."
The worry upon his face seemed to say all that he wanted. I stopped him before he could speak and walked to the container beside me. Opening it up, I quickly grasped the harness and gently placed it around my chest. The power source upon it turned on and immediately I felt relief from pain.
"Your worry is not welcome Exarch. There are more important things to worry about now."
"How can I not? To see a friend suffer so."
Shaking my head at him I began to dress in my white leather attire.
"My suffering is penance. There is no need to worry beyond that. What is to happen, shall, and in the case of what we seek, hopefully what happens now, will not."
"We have already taken a big step in the right direction so I am told."
"Yes, very big. How goes the summoning of the warriors of light?"
"Ah, yes, That has been taxing upon the tower. But I think we will finally be able to get them here."
"Good. The long wait is over then."
Adjusting my gloves, I finished dressing myself, grasping my gun and placing it upon my back, with my machinist canister upon my belt. Smiling down at my cait sith doll as I pat it's head.
"This world has been through hell. Some would suggest, it is hell. And some of them might be very correct."
I stated as I walked with the Exarch outside of the chamber within the crystal tower.
"However, we must make our stand and stop the calamity further."
The Exarch stopped, tapping his staff against the crystal floor beside me to grasp my attention.
"What of this new warrior of light you wish brought here? I did contact her but is she trust worthy?"
Nodding toward him, I smiled thinking of her.
"We have never met, but I know of her deeds. What she is capable of. She will be able to do this, I believe."
"I see. Then I shall not linger upon such. The summoning is nearly ready."
"Excellent."
We walked into the Exarchs chamber where he had been preparing for the massive summoning from the Source. I blamed myself much for the failed attempts before hand. None the less, it has been nice to have the Scions present.
"Where are the others?"
I asked, as the Exarch began to focus upon his spell.
"They are out in the field. Which is probably a good thing. I've no idea where everyone is going to land."
"You mean they're not going to land right here like the others?"
"A summoning of this proportion can not allow me to dictate the place of arrival in particular."
"Will they at least arrive with clothing this time?"
I crossed my arms, starring at him with interest.
"Yes. The situation with the scions, where regretable, has been solved. The others will arrive without problem. Though I can not promise they will all be able to stay for too long. If that be the case, we can try to re-summon them later."
"Good. You know the plan then, I suggest you get to it."
I began walked out of the room and the doors shut behind me. The Exarch looked to the doors and sighed to himself.
"All this work for a glimmering hope. I believe it worth the effort. Though, tis a shame I can not summon Him."
A smile formed on his face as he glanced down to his crystalized arm.
"Perhaps it is not beyond our power."

Kura glanced around the Rising Stones, adjusting her orange hair a bit while she was sized up by the others. Krohman kept his kitten in his arms with his mother beside him. Cleo held her child as well, still confused whom this person was.
"You're another warrior of light then. Great. We could use your help around here with everyone else about to-"
Kali stopped Tataru from saying what she was about too.
"What she means is, we are very short staffed at this moment. Your help would be very welcome."
Kura looked to her shoes for a moment, feeling a bit guilty at what she was going to have to tell them.
"Unfortunately, I have been going through the same thing as these Scions. Finally after many questions the man in the robes appeared before me and pulled me from consciousness to tell me I was needed upon the First. I know very little what he meant. However, my Lord Commander Aymeric told me to report here as soon as possible.
Cleo looked her up and down for a moment before standing up, baby in tow. Her parents had just arrived and were going to take custody for the moment.
"She's not lying. I can smell her sweat. The question I have is why now. Why are you here now?"
Krohman stated, keeping his eyes upon the woman in orange leather attire, with a unique gunblade upon her back.
"Well.... I'm afraid... I guess."
"You guess?"
Krohman stood before her, towering as he let out a small growl. He was quickly quelled when his daughter purred.
"I don't want to become a veggie like the others sitting in that resting room you have."
She crossed her arms, still looking down in a forced habit.
"Watch what you say, those people are my friends and my wife!"
He growled again, as they all noticed Skan walk in with his arms behind his back.
"Oh dear, the cat man is getting angry."
Standing before Kura, he held his arm out before her in defense.
"Stand back citizen! I shall save you!"
Aiming his finger at the ground, he released a small red dot upon it and began to move it back and forth to distract Krohman. Irritated, Krohmans eye twitched as he looked upon Skan in anger.
"Don't you have something to tell us instead of- Krehmia stop starring at that.."
He looked down to see is daughter reaching out for the dot which was now on his arm.
Smiling to himself, Skan removed the dot before speaking.
"This calling of sorts is not of ascian doing. Honestly, I am having trouble figuring out what could even do such. It is likely however, if you do not answer the call, you shall end up the same as the others within days."
"Great, that's not really of any help is it?"
"Well, I can tell you the ascians and the garleans are as of yet, not aware of the issues at hand. With acceptance of Elidibus perhaps. Though I am not incline to speak to him. There is however another problem."
"What?"
"The disappearance of Lady Wynters body was not done by the garleans nor the ascians. Someone has taken her and hidden her well. So well infact, that I could not even find her upon different worlds."
"Master Denz perhaps?"
Nodding, Skan glanced around the room and shrugged a bit.
"I suppose that was not the recon you wished to hear, yet it is fact."
"Very well."
Krohman looked to his mother and gently handed his daughter to her. She began to purr as she slept for a bit. Cleo did so her child as well to her parents.
"I will be home soon mother. Take good care of Krehmia for me."
Krohmans mother smiled a bit as she looked down to the sleeping kitten in her arms.
"You don't have to twist my tail over it, I assure you."
Cleo handed her baby into her fathers arms.
"Be a good grandpa yes?"
"Aye, of course."
Kura felt out of place as the two miqo'te walked beside her and lead her out of the Rising Stones.
"Was that an ascian?"
"Yeah, Skan has worked with us for some time now."
"You trust him?"
Kura asked as she glanced back to the doors while they shut.
"No. But we have no other means at this point."
Cleo stated as she kept her mind astray to everything else.
After a long walk and a boat ride, the three arrived at the bottom of the Crystal Tower. Kura looked on in aw, shocked at what she was seeing.
"Alright so.... Something should be found around here."
Krohman stated as he looked around at the walls for glyphs, or any sort of sign as to what they were to find.
"Aye. That was what he said to me as well.
Cleo stated as she glanced to the tower above.
"Did someone drop this? It looks like it belongs to the Ironworks.."
Kura stated as she held up a random looking gear. The three of them looked to the symbol on it, curious how it did not look particularly correct.
"That's not Ironworks, though I'm sure Cid would want to know about counterfitting.
"Strange I..."
*Zip*
In the blink of an eye, Kura had disappeared from Krohman and Cleos sights. They glanced to each other raising an eyebrow.
"That's.... okay... you know what... Not going to ask."
Krohman grasped the gear and quickly his head began to chime. Disappearing as well, Cleo followed suit and dissappeared, as the gear fell to the ground with no one in sight.
