　薄暗い闇のなか、長い長い夢を見ていた。
　周りには自分よりも優れた光の戦士たちがいて、もう自分がいなくても世界は救われていて、自分はもう光の戦士として求められていないのだと思い、自ら冒険譚を閉じた。それからずっと闇のなかで、異なる世界で無心に働く自分の姿を見続けてきた。
　このまま自然消滅に身を任せるかと思っていたのだが、ふと目覚める兆しを感じた。
　同じような兆しは過去にもあった。しかし今回はこれまでの兆しと違って呼び声が届いた。

　自分はまだ冒険できるのだろうか？
　仲間たちと新たな物語を続けられるだろうか？

　不安ながらも呼び声に応えるように、暗闇が光で満たされていった。
