Greetings travelers!
In case anyone stumbles upon this for some odd reason, welcome to the incredibly self-indulgent lore dump corner for my Warrior of Light! I've had more than a few ideas for this guy rumbling inside my head ever since I picked up Final Fantasy 14 almost a year ago in May of 2020, but this is my first time trying to actually put it to paper - or well, digital paper, in this case.
I'm not sure how far I will go as of now, but I generally plan on telling my WoL's backstory, expounding on headcanons, and measuring the full extent of his abilities. These topics will each have their own catchy names, which are as follows:
Before the Blessing.This topic will serve as the home for anything related to "Fenrir's" backstory, touching on events that took place before he first heard Hydaelyn's voice. From his family lineage, to his inspirations, to even his
TRUE name, here's where it'll all be.
Light Bites.This topic will focus on headcanons and other tidbits about his character. A wide range of subjects could be talked about here; one post could focus on how he feels about each member of the Scions, while another could add details to a moment from the main story quest. If a headcanon decides to pop into my head one day, here's where it will go.
Worth of One.This topic will measure my Warrior of Light's combat proficiency, detailing why he's worthy of the name. Whether it's the jobs he excels in or the techniques he employs in battle, here is where his mettle will be gauged.
Others.Finally, this “category” is for everything else. If a post doesn't have one of the three names above, assume it’s for something entirely different.
And that's that. With all this said, I believe it's time I get to brainstorming. I'll start with Fen's backstory and some basic information about him in the next few posts, so look forward to it!
