This game has completely changed my opinion of the MMO. People could tell, right enough, that even though I was a “new” player I wasn’t new to the genre and some even more perceptive players called me out as a “WoW refugee” which is also true! I’m never going back! This game has completely absorbed me into its intoxicating lore and grandeur. The second thing about my new player “sprout” status that really is off the mark is the shear amount of time I spend in game everyday getting closer to 80. One thing I am NOT is a “casual player,” logging 12-14 hours consecutive. I only log out when I have to sleep and I only have to sleep a couple hours. I’m not just a crazy MMO player I do have a plan to get to 80 ASAP so I can crack open my raid log like an egg! My ultimate goal is endgame hardcore raiding.
I know to your average person they laugh when someone with a “sprout” icon starts talking about savage raids but there is nothing average about the amount of time I’m logging into this game. I have been positioned at the top before in WoW and without going into boring details I was in a “elitist world/server first top raiding guild” and in that position (referring to being in a guild with likeminded people) we were able to perform some amazing things back in WoW. So I have the experience in spades for hardcore raiding... just need two things now:
A level 80 character
A raiding guild
I got the leveling thing on lock all I need now is a Full Company (see I’m a ff14 player now!) to grow with, with people that want to raid. If you know a FC like that feel free to get ahold of me! In game even I don’t care!
