About: Purchased A Realm Reborn and Heavensward about 20 days ago so my BFF and I could party, and see how we like the gameplay and community- particularly in dungeons. We come from several years of WOW.
Started a Conjurer, and I found that in the Tam Tara Deepcroft dungeon that the heals mechanics I'm used to in WOW probably got me some internal booing by the tank and other DPS. So not being fond of heals anyway, I started an Arcanist which is a lot more fun and we've done our required dungeons up to Ifrit by ourselves since we're still new and learning the game mechs.
Wondering why my DoH and DoL are higher than my Arcanist? We play together in the evenings so I craft during the day so our DoW/DoM levels don't get too far apart. ^_^
We're both chill and looking for the same in our FC.
Welcome to FFXIV : ) Best way to find other people is run Fates in your surrounding area around your level or slightly higher. OR, if you happen to see a large collection of players with the same tag ( next to their name) ask them if they have members low level that they help. If they do can join their FC and see if it's a good fit. Just don't feel like you HAVE to stay with a Fc. You may try dozens before one works for you
