Don't know why I stuck to solo play mostly, probably cause I was playing free version, but got dawntrail and decided its time to get more socially involved in the game.
So yeah finding FC that seems like a good fit, and let's me join step in progress. Not looking to join something that doesn't have long term potential if im gonna join one its gotta be something that feels like I will be going for long term, that investing time and activity into will contribute to a group I want to grow within and see grow is way more worth it.
So hopefully I will have good luck with that. Only hesitation is I made one of my first girl characters instead of just making a male since im a dude and hopefully that doesn't make anything weird as a result, since im well aware girl gamers get undesired attention to much in games sometimes. So having to explain sorry im a dude, and not interested may be another new experience for me.
Other than that, just need to see how it goes. The ffxiv community FC finder seems pretty useful in terms of starting point for finding a group, but we'll see.
Reaper
Yeah lots of reaper gamertags but I use it as a nickname I had before a gamertag, given to me by my grandma. Ive clinically died 2x, on 2 occasions years apart and came back, which culturally for my family has a thing about coming out of situations against the odds where a supernatural entity is often linked, you get a kind of mantle. So for me i beat the reaper twice and it became a nickname.
My super ultra manly man catgirl friend (boyfriend?) states, “lol, i think he'll be ok i havent been bothered in that way”… (ps: im being overly ridiculous in my description of my friend (boyfriend?))
