To whomever is reading this, if you a playing a tank role during duties, please DO NOT rush ahead and run through the entire area, garnering the enmity of every enemy in your path, only in order to have the whole horde attack you at the end of the area. There are several reasons that this is a bad idea. The first is that you are taking on unnecessary damage and putting your own life at risk. Furthermore, while you are blindly rushing ahead healers cannot heal you because healing actions are interrupted by movement. Potentially, if a healer does heal a tank while running, they have to do so while standing still and can fall significantly behind creating an even worse situation. Consequently, the tank may take too much damage before healer can catch up and possibly die. Also, just on principle, remember your basic Hall of the Novice training. It instructs tanks SPECIFICALLY against getting swarmed and recommends picking off enemies one at a time or in small groups. Why players do this intentionally I cannot say but it makes no sense to me.
Tell me what you think. If you disagree or have any other reasons why you would advise against this or even questions, then let me know in the comments below.

I just read a comment from one of my previous blog posts. They said that it is faster to move through the dungeon and I acknowledge that in reality there have only a few instances when I have played where this has truly been a problem. They also pointed out that I can simply communicate to the tank to accommodate my healing style if I need to (which I did not think of.)
I want to thank Zephel Star for this comment.
