Made a new friend today in Eorzea. Though I wish I had taken a screenshot, but we connected on a personal level, like you do with a friend in real life.
It started out me working on my new home, the Lalafell Cottage in the Lavender Bed. She was there just crafting and me been the loveable fool, was blowing bubbles, drinking ale, supping and playing dead. She started to join in and that was when I pointed to a house, then went up the hill and pointed at my signpost and went into my own home. Then she came in and I welcomed her to my home and showed her around. I was so proud of the basement, did it as an entertainment room, with a open kitchen and a bedroom in another room. The entertainment room has a plasmatic screen, a table with Triad and another table with a box of toys. The kind of toys you get to play with at the gold saucer.
We sat on the sofa, chatting and just talking about the world of Final Fantasy XIV; how I used to play Final Fantasy XI and how I use to be a White Mage in Final Fantasy XI. Talking about the difference in the game, then we started to talk about how the game meant to me, and she told me how the game made her feel, and the wish that we could live in such a wonderful world with magic and might.
I love this game and I’ve made a new friend.
