The Eastern Sun & Westward Moon 5 | Side Story

Public
Mor Dhona was a rather beautiful. Since the five millenia that he was asleep over the years he never once found himself in the beating heart of the empire that took everything he knew away. Even as he starred at the Crystal Tower that had bursted out of the grown like a rising spire. He couldn't help but feel it's engries still linger. According to Apolliare the land wasn't always like this. Midgardsormr had scarred the land into crystal. In fact according to him it was the most scarred place in all of the realm, but to him it looked rather nice. Still he was stuck here no way out. Which he was contemplating how to solve.
He's still here, didn't he say he was going to leave? All he seems to be doing for the past few days is stare off at the Crystal Tower.
Techically he is going to, but Castrum Centri is a bit of a road block. Damn Garleans just love making our lives harder don't they.
Solid point.

Two of the Sons talked amongst each other.
Still even if he got to Northern Thanalan he'd still have to find a way through to bluefog.
That is correct. I wonder what Sebastion would've said if he was still around.
Possibly something like 'Play with the snake long enough and it'll bite you.'
Yeah definately that. I kinda miss him and his weird sayings.

Abel knew it was wrong to easedrop, but it gave him more than enough information. It made him plan his plan to try and sneek through. Pushing himself off of the crate he was sitting on. He ducked into the tent he holed himself up in for the past few days. Passing by a stand up mirror that was set up. Since the few days he was here. Abel had tied his hair to the front for the moment. The tunic he was wearing from when he woke up replaced with a black wool shirt, white draped loose fitting pants, and a pair of leather flat shoes. He looked like a commoner, more than a prince. But in a way he still looked rather handsome. He wasn't sure what to make of this. He was used to living in higher places. But not quite in the terms of a normal life for the average person. Apolliare commented that he was quite incompetent when it came to things like cooking. He wasn't taught to have such a skills growing up as a royal. But he had to find a way to survive how he didn't know. But there was room to make an effort to know how.

Sighing he picked up a leather bound note book from a table and exited back out. Up and away to a point he can look onto the Casturm to try and find a way though to the other side. Finding a nice looming ciffside he looked upon the mass of metal fortresses. That made the base. Taking notes as he squinted at it. Trying to make out a way through. Concentrating, crossing out possible ways that wouldn't work.
"You know it's pointless right?"
A strong femine voice sounded from behind. Flitching Abel whipped his head around to be greeted with a tall hyurian woman of highlander orgin. Tan skinned and dark haired with a harsh pout on her face. Her eyes was a striking violet. Abel knew this person. Apolliare menioned her name was 'Aisha. He even knew what kind of person she was, which was a cynical pessimist. Mainly due to her childhood in Ala Mhigo. A place that was taken over by the very same people he was looking down upon.
"Miss 'Aisha what are you doing here?" He questioned.
"Apolliare told me to keep an eye on you. Place is filled with these damn gars." She expressed in disgust.
From his view, 'Aisha never liked taking about the persons called the garliens. Abel got that feeling from her. A meer mention of them made her lips curl in anger, and gave her the strength to crack a tumbler. She often called them by the name 'Gars'. To say she didn't exactly have the best of memories was an understatment. Abel ignored her rather flat nihlisim, he was desperate to find a way out. And he was only at square one. Continuing to crudly doodle into the notebook. Drawing lines and taking notes of how it would work. As he did 'Aisha looked over his shoulder.
"You're pretty damn persistant wanting to get through there." She commented.
"It's the only way through without freezing to death." Abel replied as he etched another line into the paper. "Besides, I WANT to see what's on the other side."
'Aisha blinked and cackled a cynical laugh from her lips. "You really think you can get through there ALIVE? A nieve little thing like you? That's rich." she seemingly still had a hopeless qualm.
"You doubt me?" Abel said cocking his head to the side. "I may not look like the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I can at least think a little to be critical."
'Aisha clicked her tounge at Abel. She expressed before how she didn't eactly hate him, but she didn't exactly 'like' him either. She often expressed how she thought his constant optimism was rather annoying. Given that she herself was a harsh realist. But Abel didn't really care through it hurt him internally. Not even Tris was this harsh. He just wanted to get out and move on to wherever to find his answers. Or at least bloom a new life.

Once again he sighed. The plan he currently had writ on his paper. He turned onto another page.
"Another bust on this." He stated flopping down onto the hard crystal ground.
'Aisha narrowed her eyes. "Didn't the old man tell me you were some special kind of person?" She snarled.
"I'm called an esper." Abel snapped "and whatever you're suggesting I don't think it'll work for me."
"Tch if you're really this 'esper' you call yourself. Why don't you just use your powers you barrel through that place?" 'Aisha growled.
It was at that moment Abel came to an ephithiny why didn't he think to that in the first place? He sprung his body up and grasped 'Aisha by the shoulders.
"By the stars Miss 'Aisha you're a saint!" He exclaimed proudly.
"Huh?"
"I never thought to do that though I'm going to have to think a little smarter on that front." Abel expressed to her.
'Aisha became visibly confused. She wasn't even sure what was going on but she knew she struck a nail with this boy she had no desire to relate to. She pushed him off of herself and composed herself.
"Right...what are you wanting to do then? Or at least have in mind?" She stressed flatly.
"I have something in mind but I'll show you later. The only thing I need right now is you."
"For what?"
Abel just sweetly smiled. "Just in case."

Later that day after dinner around the campfire. 'Aisha sat in her tent with her mind swirling. Swimming and figuring out what he wanted her for. Was it bait? Was he planing to betray her? What was it? Suddenly the flap opened to the moonlight showing his frame draped with a loose fitting hooded cape and fastener.
"Miss 'Aisha c'mon it's time." He whispered.
'Aisha groaned as she grasped her rifle hulster. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Alright alright hold the chocobos." She mumbled through her sleepy daze.
Once again they walked from the camp to the other side through Revenant's Toll. But now they as close as the Castrum as they could without getting cought or even killed on sight. With that Abel stepped forth. Taking several deep breathes he began to channel his power. As he did 'Aisha hovered her hand over her weapon. She was ready to kill if the time came for it. Soon a light glow surrounded the boy. It was a power 'Aisha never felt before. In fact she wasn't even sure if it was from this world at all. A pulse cracked across the area forward of them. Soon the Castrum went dark. All the lights had flickered off. Noises scilenced all was left was the chirp of crickets, and the crokes of frogs. 'Aisha was gobsmacked, she didn't know if what Abel said was true or not. But now she saw it before his eyes. She blinked in surprise. Abel's body shaked in a cold sweat. As his chest tight as he heaved trying to gain his pulse back at a steady pace. Once he did he looked at 'Aisha giving a half-hearted smile.
"What was that?" She questioned in a low tone.
"Just half my power. Eitherway the guards will be too destracted to be focusing on me meaning I can get through by scaling the cliffs. To avoid the best of it." Abel mentioned motioning to move his hair behind his ear.
"You won't get far."
"I know, but if I don't make it to that place called Ul'dah by the end. Just know I tried." Abel said strongly.
'Aisha didn't know what to make of this she didn't exactly care. But she felt something in her that knew she was going to miss him. Abel walked backwards slowly his smile persisting in a sort of pain.
"Bye Miss 'Aisha tell Apolliare that I thank him for everything." He soon left scaling the cliffs with a hop and a jump on his light feet like a rabbit in a field. Disappering away from view. 'Aisha made her way back to camp her mind still questioning if what she saw was real. When she did Apollaire was waiting there for her.
"'Aisha where were you? Where's Abel?" He questioned calmly.
'Aisha turned her head "he left using a crazy plan of his. He wanted me to say he thanks you for everything."
"Is that so" Apollaire expressed disappointment at this. "But he did want to leave sometime soon. At least I have some notes on his kind."
"How is that relevant to anything?"
"I did some searching turns out there was mention of a kingdom from around that time called Babel. We also found some skeletons around the area. With some unique qualties. I'm begining to think his story has some nugget of truth to it." Apollaire stated clearly. "I'm going to see if I can contact Sebastion's brother since he has his notes."

'Aisha now was sure this story was more than just fiction. But she couldn't exactly ask Abel if Apolliare was being true. But now he was long gone. And long gone he was. Now he was over trasporter tracks and on the otherside across the border. Once again his chest grew tight and body shivered in cold. A voice sung in his head.
You have waked and still you run.
When will he ever stop running? To him the answer was roughtly simple. It was never at least not now.
