  • About Free Companies

A community to play together with friends on the same World.

Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

STARLIT CACTUARS

Looking for a cozy place to hang out, laugh in VC, and run content together?
Snack Time is a social 18+ Free Company focused on building a friendly and active community both in and out of game. We’re a relaxed group that understands school, work, and real life come first, but we still love spending time together — whether that’s running content, chatting in voice, or just hanging out.

♡ We also strive to keep the FC LGBTQ+ friendly. ♡

Bigotry, sexism, and other nasty behaviors will not be tolerated.

Housing
We have a medium house in the Goblet, although we are still bidding for a better location. Yes, yes, we are still bidding...the medium and large housing markets are rough out here

We host a variety of in-game and Discord events, including:
Mount farming
- FATE farming
- Daily roulettes
- Random adventures (sometimes just running around in circles)
- Community events and game nights (Sunday is movie night unless otherwise stated)
- Bard performances every so often
- Some occasionally wish to try to do the lower end of high-tier content (unreals, non-current extremes and savages, etc.)

Outside of the game, we also host:
- Events for other games
- Casual hangouts in voice chat
- Remember the movie night above?
- Lamentation hearings from Bramble about how I lock him in the basement too often and he's hungry

There’s usually someone around in VC most evenings, so it’s easy to jump in and make friends. We want to create a community that is friendly and welcoming, inclusive and respectful, safe for everyone, and supportive of work/life/school balance. Moreover, whether you're a veteran player or newer to the game, you're welcome here.

Also, our active members number under Community Information is much more accurate than the Group Profile, and we try to keep it up-to-date.

We now have a Minecraft server up as well! :)

Requirements
- 18+ only
- Discord generally required (we organize most events there)

We hope to grow a little and make some lasting friendships along the way, which is a hard goal, but one worth striving for.
