    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

We are a community of LGBTQIA+ queer FFXIV players from Elemental and Materia DC, looking to have an awesome time and enjoy FFXIV together in a positive and supportive environment. We are as diverse as the colours of the rainbow - with members across various servers, queer orientations, and nationalities - united by our common identity under the Rainbow flag. We were also the proud organizers for the 2020 - 2024 Pride March on Tonberry (Elemental DC) & Sophia (Materia DC).

We operate mainly on our boosted discord server - a place for everyone to chat & communicate in - as well as in-game CWLS for members who enjoy real-time chatting while playing FFXIV!

Established since 14 April 2020, we have members from across Australia & New Zealand, various regions across Asia, as well as parts of Europe and North America - we are always up for DRs, Gpose shenanigans, memes or just casual chatting about the Drag Race! We frequently run activities like mount farms, treasure maps, and hang-out events for our members, making sure that everyone has a great time together! :)

Whether if you are a fresh adventurer or a seasoned veteran, The Rainbow Connection is about providing a place where we can all celebrate our identity without prejudice, a place where we can experience the joy and excitement of adventure together. If you are looking to make new LGBTQIA+ friends, look no further!

2) in a cutscene
3) in a dungeon/raid/instance
4) crafting
5) using retainers/glamour dresser
6) in an instance e.g. Bozja/Diadem/Island Sanctuary!
