    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

We are thrilled to introduce our FC Matcha Cafe an English speaking FC with an inclusive and passionate group of adventurers who are dedicated to conquering challenges and fostering strong bonds.

At our FC, we believe in the power of unity and collaboration. We are aiming to offer a diverse range of activities and support for players of all levels and interests. Whether you're a battle-hardened warrior, a skilled crafter, or a master of exploration, there's a place for you at your new home in FFXIV.

We hope to create that feeling of community and kinship for however long you decide to journey with us.

Our History

Founded in 2022, The Matcha Cafe free company began as a group of friends who wanted to create their own guild to build a small community in a little corner of Eorzea.
At first we made no attempts to recruit new members as we aimed to get a house and learn more about FFXIV and the community we wanted to add to. In 2024 we finally had an idea of where we wanted to take our FC and began recruiting slowly to grow into a small but active free company. We recruited new and veteran players while keeping a focus on shaping the FC to be a welcoming home for players of all backgrounds and aspirations for the game.
As an FC that has an understanding that everyone has their own lives and schedules, we aim to keep growing and sharing in game experiences and providing a warm welcoming environment for like-minded players.

We offer a chance for promotions within our FC and chances to help within the FC workshop!

FC Type: Omni Guild: Social, Raiding, Extreme Trials, Dungeon, Crafting, Monthly raffles, glamour contests, mount farming, beginner static, mid core static, ultimate raiding, dailies, deep dungeons, Blue Mage Events and much more!

Airships & Submersibles: 3 Submarines

FC Company Workshop: Active with staff

Buffs: Rolling Rota of buffs Heat of Battle 3 up on weekends

House: A Medium-sized FC Estate in the Mists, Ward 2. Plot 59.

The FC owns Boba Shot Venues Network which has 3 venues directly ran and owned by the FC and two sister venues ran by FC members. (Boba Shot Night Club, Matcha Café Bathhouse & Spa and Café Enchanté)
