  • About Free Companies

    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

Hello Adventurers,

I'm going to try to keep this short and decently formatted. We are Sanctuary of Sound, a long standing FC that is looking to spread it's horizons to Dynamis. We are a healthy mix of returning veterans and sprouts. We don't demand much out of people who join, the only rules are as follows;

TL;DR : We are just some friends that want to make some more friends and grind content. With a heavy emphasis on building a community that will outlast us just playing one game together for a little bit.

- Rules for application -

- You must be over 18, with the preferred age requirement of 21+

- You must understand that while we are very active in FFXIV, it is not where we live. We have lives and other interests and we share those with one another regardless of days in game. If you goal is to just sit silently in a free company, you're probably much better off somewhere else.

- Don't bring hate into our discord or other chats.

The benefits and what SoS offers

- SoS offers a more personal experience where you wont ever feel like you are falling into a borg of unfamiliar faces that never communicate. You will be valued as an individual and respected. Your voice will always have weight and hopefully you'll feel like you are surrounded by friends rather than just strangers online.

- We hang out regularly in VC even when we are not playing you can typically find us watching movies, shows, doing listen parties for new albums that drop for music, each other doing art and, we play other games together, etc.

- We have plans for forming a Static raid group for older savage content AND current content, we have a static commander and several others who are already on board for this. For questions about that refer to our Static Commander (Kaalia Shaoweave)

- We offer a safe space to be yourself without the risk of hate, this means the LGBTQ+ and various linked groups, you'll never be targeted for being who you are unless who you are is a hateful person.

- The standard FC buffs that are stock for most if not all FCs

- We run any and all content together, from old trials, hunts, Deep dungeons, PvP, Eureka, treasure hunting, etc.

- We have officially obtained our large house and are in the process of leveling our subs.

- You wont ever lose your spot with SoS even if you quit the game for an extended period of time. We might prune the accounts just to keep things small but the second you want back in, just let someone in the discord know and you'll always have a place with us. The connections made here do not end with FFXIV.

My motivation for typing all this out is waning drastically so I'm going to cut this off here. If you have any questions please find me in game and flag me down. We eagerly await your applications.
