    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

Hello and thank you for checking us out! Parhelion is a community-based FC, founded with the intent of creating & fostering a place where all of our members can enjoy FF XIV together! With a dedicated and organized Discord server along with amicable members to keep things lively both in and out of game, we hope to include more and more individuals interested in our community.

We welcome both NEW & VETERAN players to our ranks! With the recent growth of the game, there are many people finding themselves without much of a place to belong. My goal is to create a place where people can feel comfortable knowing that they are firmly part of an active bunch that will embrace them both in-game and out of it as well.

☼ Why did you create Parhelion?

Some backstory context is needed for this one! Some long time ago I created a Free Company on another server, and through many experiences along with being able to create a gradually growing and amazing community I was able to achieve my goal, but real-life circumstances caused me to step down and allow better leaders to take my place, knowing full well they too shared my vision for the community. Now that things are settled, I hope to give this a go again, with plenty of previous experience under my belt this time!

Of course! There are no judgments here; the only thing we're looking for are the right personalities that mesh well with us. Your orientation, gender, etc. should not and will not be of "consequence" here whatsoever!


☼ What are your future plans for the Free Company? Do you guys get together often?

I have several plans actually in store for everyone! These involve frequent interactions among members and creating a better medium to foster socialization and friendship among folks.

Community Goals
So what DOES building a community mean? What does it actually do for YOU, the player? Think of the times you've logged into the game and felt like your experiences could have been better with people you know, or perhaps you've already enjoyed that "feeling" once and want to achieve it again. Maybe you want to find a place to belong, where you can simply just look forward to chatting with people, and somehow along the way find the best of friends among the eclectic bunch. THIS and so much more are the things I hope to make happen with Parhelion, not just as a Free Company but as an inclusive group dedicated to just making things a little bit better for people who share our vision.

Events
Treasure Maps, Movie Nights, Board Game Days (via Tabletop Simulator), and other myriad in-game events happen often! Our Discord is our primary means of making these things happen. Definitely worth checking out if you want an excuse to just talk to people!

Free Company Size
An understandable concern for many! We'll be aiming to remain at most around 80 people or so. I realize that SEEMS like a lot, but know that not everyone will be online all at once more often than not. The reason for this is to make sure people are accommodated in having others to play with within the FC during their respective time zones (we've got night owls!).



☼ Are you guys interested in raiding and hardcore content too?

We'll have a few enthusiasts for more serious end-game pursuits, yes, myself included! Whether that pans out in a proper way or not (creating a static) remains to be seen, but we're not averse to hardcore content! (Truthfully I'm hoping to get a good bunch of FC members together to do Ultimate Raids. If this is something you're interested in, definitely give me a heads up!)

Introvert extraordinaire, avid long-time FF XIV player, and FC leader of Parhelion <GLEAM>!

Outside of FF XIV, I focus quite a bit on food, as I tend to enjoy exploring and checking out new places around my town as they open up. You'll often see me posting food pictures in our Discord, among shitposts and memes~

This FC is my pride and joy, and with our recent growth, I've gotten so much more than I could have reasonably asked for. I hope that you become part of this dream of mine, to make this community better and develop all sorts of friendships along the way. Some of my closest friends that I've come to adore came from the smallest of places in this game, and so I invite you to be part of what makes this game so great to play!

I am not a member. But I have made friends with members of Parhelion. They have become some of my best friends that I have made in this game. If I wasn't the leader of my own FC, then I would probably have joined them. So, if you are looking for a great community of players, then I highly recommend that you consider joining them.

You sound like what I am looking for, I have only played for 7 months got to end-game and burnt out, didn't really and still dont have friends. I am currently on Seraph, I want a group to hang out with, vibe with and learn Savages or tackle high-end content with, but I also love to socialize and gather as well as do dailies.
