    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

We are a rank 30 smallish~ free company based in Coeurl.
Players from all walks of life are welcome to join as long as they can be respectful to one another.

Our main goal is to grow with quality not quantity, to a moderate size of 25-35 members atm. So far it's vastly preferred by myself and the rest of the guild to NOT try to be one of those meat-grinder guilds. While those types of free companies have their purpose, that's not what we want for ours.

While honestly having 30ish~ members can sound like a lot, the active list of members that log in weekly or daily is something else entirely. At the lowest you'd see about 3-6 people and at the highest you'd see like 10-14 members online. So it's a more manageable list of people than you'd initially think! There's usually a moderate amount of people tha log-in each day. With any fc there's going to be a rolling active member list from day to day.

As a note from past experiences, the fc can essentially be what you choose to make it for yourself.
It can be quiet or boisterous but that's depending on your own personal social investment.
If you don't at least try to be social then it's only natural for people to do the same. Someone has to reach out first and we only have control of our own actions right?
We all as a community have our own shared level of responsibility in acting in tandem for what we want from it.

◇ FC Actions ◇
Currently the default buffs would be:
•The Heat of Battle II - Every Day
•Reduced Rates II - Sun, Mon, Wed & Fri
•Helping Hand II - Tues & Thurs
•Jackpot III - Saturdays for Jumbo Cactpot

We are certainly more than willing to use other fc buffs as needed or requested!

If someone just want an fc solely for buffs though, then please go join a large meat-grinder guild. As a smaller fc, it's all the more important for people to not be filler in the roster.
I don't expect people to go out of their way to socialize but it's just a friendly recommendation for solo players to go find an fc where membership isn't as limited or maintained.

◇ Events ◇
We currently run a Mount farm and Map farm on alternating Sundays. Not to mention a seasonal house party on occasion.
If anyone would want or be interested in other types then let us know~

◇ Inactivity ◇
Currently we do have a loose activity timer for members to keep the guild roster clean. All who do get kicked for inactivity are more than welcome to apply again in the future when they come back to the game. This is simply a measure to keep the active member list from bloat exclusively.

While there is no hard defined number of days before a kick, a good rule of thumb would be four weeks. It's more-so a case by case situation though.

For example, if a member:
• Is a new player who just started the game
• Has had little to no social interactions within the fc
• Has yet to join the discord
• Only been for a member for less than a week
• Ghosted with no prior notice
• Isn't in any way or form able to be contacted

If someone checks all the boxes above then they will have a much more strict offline kick period than another member that has put more time/effort into both the fc/discord.

◇ Discord ◇
As mentioned above, yes we do have a discord! Personally I've been enjoying the brainstorming/management of the fc on how to make it as functional and rewarding as possible. This has been a learning experience that I've enjoyed greatly so far and I hope to continue to do so long into the future!
