  • About Free Companies

    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

Hello!

Welcome to The Eclipse!

The following lines of text will probably read exactly like every other FC of the same nature, so please bear with me :)

We are a new FC, with the aim of creating a social space for anyone and everyone. How do we differ from any other social FC? Well, on the surface we might not, but I have a fair amount of experience running these things and whilst FF14 remains core, we aim to create a social space for anyone who wants to join. Aiming to create a tight knit community that can stay in touch outside of the game, developing strong friendships, which to me has always been the best feature about FF14 and its community.

We have a Medium plot of land in the lavender beds, currently being decorated by our members. And with 24/7 level 2 buffs too!

As is standard with FCs nowadays, we also have a discord that is setup with numerous sections for social aspects, as well as bots and sections beneficial to the game, for example, being able to check market board prices on the data centre via discord haha. We also offer something I haven't seen any FC do, a content tracker. Myself and the co owner have created a sheet with all the high end content on, to track who has completed what content, allowing us to plan FC events much smoother and tailored to peoples needs :)

As our FC grows, we will be updating this page regularly with new information and screenshots of our activities, they can be found below :)

If you are interested in helping an FC take off, then we welcome everyone here. If you are a sprout or a mentor, a new player or a veteran then we are always happy to accept you. All we ask in return is a smile on your face and to be as cheerful as the rest of us :)
