  • About Free Companies

    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

This is primarily a Discord server now and is aimed at gathering players who live in or are from the UK to make friends, chat and play together over the EU Physical Data Center (Chaos/Light).
We are pushing 900+ members now from both DC's combined.

The Discord is active with events catering different expansions and levels, conversations, help and more. We are very laid back, have people who are also happy to help where needed and like to have fun but also aim to get things done too. We run content such as treasure maps, wondrous tails, extremes, raids from old to new and various other content.

We have organised IRL meetups around other events that have happened around the UK. Most recently groups met up at London Fan Fest 2023, Distant Worlds and other conventions such as Kupocons and comic cons. More events can be planned if there is an interest to meet up.

We encourage and support players to create their own groups and organize content. Our Discord offers dedicated sections for FC and static recruitment, and members can propose and run events that suit their schedules. The goal is to foster a space where the community thrives through collaboration, shared initiatives and the Discord server becomes self-sustainable.

The reason why we are a Discord server is because the CWLSs max capacity is set at 64 per DC. We have therefore chosen to concentrate on mainly being a Discord community, as the CWLS capabilities and limits are just not enough to cater to us. However, the CWLSs that do exist will continue to be available and usable but spaces are limited. We aim to keep these places open for new and active members.
