  • Patch 3.25 Notes

    Patch 3.25 brings a number of additions and refinements to the realm, including the continuation of the anima weapon quest line, a new chocobo racing challenge, adjustments to PvP, and more!

    Thank you for all of your invaluable input regarding the Feast. Based on the feedback we have received so far, a number of adjustments have been made for PvP. In light of these changes, we have decided to postpone the start of Season One until two weeks after the release of patch 3.25. At that time, we will release patch 3.26, which will include final adjustments for the Feast. As always, we encourage you to provide us with feedback that we may ensure seasons are an enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • It's “Culling Time” on the Chaos Data Center!

    Last week, packs of wolves from all over Eorzea gathered for the first ever Culling Time – A live stream dedicated to The Feast, the brand new PvP experience in FINAL FANTASY XIV on the Aether data center. Kill or be killed, fame or glory – the North American Community Team got their fair share of both.

    They have had their time in the arena. Now, it is time for the European Community Team to shine…. or flee from the arena with their tails between their legs!

    Join us on Wednesday in this PvP-centric live stream on the Chaos data center, as Ben and Tom from the European team try their best to dominate the battlefield and help their pack to come out victorious!

  • Announcing Updates to the Heavensward Music Contest!

    With our Heavensward music contest going full steam ahead, we’d like to detail two changes we’re making to the event! In response to the high demand from players, we have decided to make the "Night in the Brume" sheet music available on the official forums! As such, we have extended the contest entry period for those who would like to make use of the sheet music when creating their entry.

    Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

    To accommodate this extension, we’ll also be adjusting the date of the winner announcement. Sound Director Masayoshi Soken will showcase the final entries on-stage at the Nico Nico Chokaigi 2016 event at the end of April!

  • Announcing the Heavensward Music Contest!

    To celebrate the release of the sound team’s newest masterpiece, Heavensward: FINAL FANTASY XIV Original Soundtrack, we’re holding a special contest focused on the music of Heavensward. Soak up the tranquil sounds of the evening theme for Foundation—“Night in the Brume”—and perform your own rendition of the song! Will you keep it classy with a soothing piano or a violin? Completely jazz it up? Or perhaps straight-up rock out? That’s all up to you!

    Put your heart and soul into the music and bring back the feelings you felt when taking your first steps into Ishgard. The final judging will be performed by Sound Director Masayoshi Soken! Prizes include a decorative plaque signed by Masayoshi Soken, as well as in-game item packages! We’re looking forward to hearing all the entries!

    Spring is upon the realm once more, the warm breezes made sweet with cherry blossoms and birdsong. Truly a season of mirth and merriment, especially so for young maidens, as it brings their favorite holiday─Little Ladies' Day.

    The streets are alive with excitement as locals and tourists alike rush to line their bags with sweetcakes and fine fabrics. The royal seneschal, however, is focused solely on the Songbirds, an amazing trio of singers he has put together to commemorate this most wonderful occasion. With his plans hitting a few snags along the way, it seems he might be in need of a helping hand to make this year’s festivities extra special.

  • Patch 3.2 Notes (Preliminary)

    Patch 3.2 brings a host of additions and refinements to the ever-changing realm of Eorzea. Thrill-seekers can brave the steely confines of Alexander: Midas, contest the awesome might of Sephirot, the Fiend, or dive into strange new dungeons. Those still learning the ropes of the adventuring life can practice in the Hall of the Novice and seek guidance via the mentor system. If you simply need to refine your form, you can cut your teeth at Stone, Sky, Sea. There's even the orchestrion for the realm's connoisseurs of music. Indeed, there is something for everyone here in Eorzea!
