Patch 3.51 Notes
FINAL FANTASY XIV Patch 3.51
As with other patches released after 3.0, patch 3.51 contains content that can only be accessed by registering FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:
- These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
- These additions and adjustments do not require the purchase of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
- These additions and adjustments contain elements that may require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
Battle System
The number of Allagan tomestones required to exchange for the following item has been adjusted

Items
The names of the following fishing holes have been adjusted:
Upper La Noscea
Outer La Noscea
* Following this adjustment, Northwest Bronze Lake has been added under Outer La Noscea in the Fishing Log.
* The fish that can be caught at these fishing holes have not been changed.
System
A sound will now play when a party has finished recruiting via the Party Finder interface.
Players can now join parties listed in the Party Finder interface even when queued for a duty via the Duty Finder.
Resolved Issues
- The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue with beast tribe vendors wherein, players with a reputation of "Allied" or above with beast tribes in the 3.0 areas could not select the option "Purchase Items (Allied)" when speaking with beast tribe vendors in the 2.0 areas.
- An issue wherein certain pomanders could be used in areas outside of the Deep Dungeon.
- An issue with the market board wherein certain low level equipment was not displayed when performing a search for Lv. 60 feet armor for thaumaturge, conjurer, arcanist, black mage, summoner, white mage, or scholar.
- An issue wherein mooching using an HQ Bonytongue at North Bronze Lake in Upper La Noscea would cause an error to occur.
- An issue wherein the name of the orchestrion roll received as a reward from the Fires of Sohm Al side quest was incorrect.
- An issue at the Collectable Appraiser in Idyllshire and Mor Dhona wherein “morel” could not be traded in when the reward bonus (★mark) was indicated.
- An issue wherein achievements implemented for miner after Patch 3.5 could not be obtained due to errors in the requirement.
* Requirements for "I Found That: Miner V" have been changed to "Gather and record discovery of 150 unique items as a miner."
* If the requirement has already been met, you will obtain the achievement by gathering a single item. - An issue wherein players could not join a duty when queuing with a full cross-world party.
- An issue wherein a disbanded party could be forcibly reformed if the former party leader casted teleport.
- An issue with the Party Finder wherein an underscore was displayed under the "J" when performing the subcommands "View Party Finder" or ”View Search Info” regardless of the target's set language.
- An issue wherein a light party duty cross-world Party Finder listing would change to a full party requirement when the recruiter logged out and back in.
- An issue wherein changing areas while editing party recruitment details would cause the character party information to not appear correctly.
- An issue wherein certain Worlds were not able to view other Worlds' Party Finder listings.
- An issue wherein “A” was not displayed in the enmity gauge of the pet or companion in the party list.
- An issue wherein flying text would be displayed even when the "Display flying text" setting in the Character Configuration interface was turned off.
- An issue wherein speaking to housing-related NPCs and selecting "Travel to ward with private estate." would warp you to the incorrect area.
- An issue wherein the client could crash if a request to meld materia was canceled due to the commencement of a duty.
- An issue wherein the client could crash when selecting the "Meld" action during materia melding.
- An issue wherein the gaps between the icons in the hotbar are too wide when the hotbar display is set to [1x12].
