PlayStation®4 Beta Test Phase 2 Schedule (04/01/2014)
The second phase of beta testing for the PlayStation®4 version is scheduled to take place at the following times:
Friday, April 4 at 1:00 a.m. to Monday, April 7 at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

Users participating in beta test phase 2 are required to download and install the latest PlayStation®4 System Software Update (version 1.62). Users who have not yet updated their system software will be prompted to do so after loading the game client. The following is an outline for the second phase of PlayStation®4 beta testing and the steps that must be taken in order to participate.
Beta Test Phase 2 Schedule
Friday, April 4 at 1:00 a.m. to Monday, April 7 at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

Beta Test Phase 2
During beta test phase 2, players have the option to participate using pre-existing characters from the Windows and PlayStation®3 versions. Furthermore, testing will be conducted on public Worlds. All newly created characters can be created on a data center and World of your choosing, and will carry over to official service after the beta test has concluded.
Additional Worlds
The following new Worlds will be available at the start of beta test phase 2:
* Characters cannot be transferred to these newly established worlds until their economies have matured.
Mana (Japan Data Center)
Shinryu
Aether (NA/EU Data Center)
Jenova
Chaos (NA/EU Data Center)
Zodiark

Participating in Beta Test Phase 2
Starting Friday, April 4, 2014, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available for download from the PlayStation®Store. No registration is necessary after downloading the game client.
* Please note that a different game client is required to participate in phase 2 of the beta test. Users who participated in phase 1 are required to download the new game client.
1. Using the Sony Entertainment Network account registered to your PlayStation®3, log in to the PlayStation®Store and download FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
* In the event multiple Sony Entertainment Network accounts are registered to the PlayStation®4 to be used for testing, please remember to log in using your account.
2. After launching the game, the Square Enix account login screen will be displayed. Log in using your Square Enix account details that you use to play the Windows version.
3. Users who did not participate in beta test phase 1 will be prompted to link their Square Enix account and Sony Entertainment Network account upon entering their ID and password.
* Please be advised that linking a Square Enix account to a Sony Entertainment Network account is an irreversible process.
4. Select your current FINAL FANTASY XIV service account.
* Please note that by selecting a separate or newly created service account, you cannot participate in the beta test with a pre-existing character.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin playing.

For Users with Multiple Service Accounts
Only one service account per Sony Entertainment Network account and Square Enix account can be used to participate in the beta test. Users with multiple service accounts tied to a single Square Enix account should choose carefully when selecting an account containing characters they wish to use during the beta test.

Beta Test Announcements and Bug Reports
All announcements regarding the beta test including schedule updates and confirmed issues will be posted on the official forums.
