Worked on my 10-pager game design document on Saturday
. Some good progress over the weekend. I even got a few compliments. I guess I must be doing something
I also played some records during this time as well, which were:
The White Stripes - Self-Titled Debut
Suicide - Self-Titled Debut
Motorhead - Overkill
Black Flag - The First Four Years (on CD, since they ripped me off and sent me that instead of the vinyl that I was actually wanting >:(>
And on Sunday:
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
Django Reinhardt - First Recordings
Joe Walsh - The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get
Also got a so-so workout on Monday morning. My cable crossovers
and standing chest presses
went well enough, but I had to abort my dumbbell chest flyes
and everything else since I felt an excessive amount of grinding in my shoulders. :O>
I also abandoned my sumo squats
as well since I felt my right knee pop. So much for that. :/>
And for today's session I was
going to work on leveling up my dark knight, but apparently with this new patch came the new level 80 highland exploration ventures. So I cried "All hands on deck!
" and focused on gathering/crafting all the level 80 gathering gear (pickaxe, sledgehammer, chest, gloves, and legs) that they need. Massive gathering/crafting campaign today.
Probably a first-world problem, but: Gramsol
. The only way to unlock these guys is by getting FATE rank 3 - ie. a grand total of 67 FATEs!
- in all the zones. Hell, I could've just gotten rank 2 in all of them, and that would've unlocked all I needed, then just teleporting to whichever one I needed to go to. Helluva lot faster than burning myself out on all the FATE grinding, just to unlock a One-Stop Shop. Pathfinder achievement
much Squeenix? :/>
Joined the "Gamers Anon" (a fellowship for gamers who play other games than FF XIV) and "Fellowship of the Rings" (a fellowship about crafting/gathering) fellowships as well. And I was going to start posting stuff in there until.....Soupy96
dropped by, someone I haven't seen in a long time. Real good to see him! He's been working on his degree in web development, so he hasn't had a lot of time for other stuff. Him and I pretty much talked about my game that I'm working on
, batted some ideas around and stuff, and then I had to shut down for the night. Oh, and some good convo with all my other visitors as well. The kind of streams I wish I got more often. :(>
And here's the records I played this evening:
Metallica - Live at the Playhouse Theatre '86
Joni Mitchell - Court and Spark
Vangelis - Earth
Sonny Rollins - Standards
KISS - Self-Titled Debut
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Okey dokey, time to call it a night. I might stream something tomorrow morning, but we'll see. Until then though, <Take care.>
