I am the dumbest player I know
So I’ve come to the realization I’ve not acted on what I’ve known.
Off global cool down and Global down. Things I’ve done, but never knew it’s name. That could have saved me years of stress. I would have a better Hotbar system than I do.
The last few days I’ve resumed working towards Angel Whisper. Enjoying immensely learning mechanics in the masked carnival, yes it got a major update. 3 of the required challenges I completed. But I’m now realizing I could have done far better if I had my ofcds separate from regular cds. It’s certainly opened up a big fact.
Less stress. But now I’m seeing that for all Jobs, it’s exactly how it should be.
I also now know what the little dotted lines around the players are. Procs, I guess I never knew they’re unique to each class/ Job.
I’ve never felt more like an idiot about this game than I do now.......
don't worry about being a dummy, it took me a while to learn how to be a proper black mage

I have played this game for 4 years. I have done almost all of Coils and nearly every EX primal at the hardest level the fights can be at. I have cleared Eureka's BA dungeon.
And I have NO idea what that means. I honestly have never noticed that, EVER! ;p
SEE, even knowledgeable veteran players can miss stuff, so don't feel bad. LOL
If you want a really easy way to tell them apart, gcd skills either say "weaponskill" or "spell" on the tooltip at the top, and usually have ~2.5 second cooldowns. Ogcds say "ability" on them and have longer cooldowns, usually 30/45/60/90/120 seconds.
Annabel, procs are when additional effects happen on skills from other skills. Such as Freecure for White Mage or Firestarter for Black Mage, or any combo skill could be considered a proc. It's when the skills have the yellow lines around them.
