船の出港前、ウリエンジェが静かに姿を現し、一同に詩を贈った。

「『日出ずる地にて生まれし 紅き輝き 烈火となりて
日沈む地にて生まれし 蒼き輝きを喰らわん』。

この詩は東方に伝わるものです。紅と蒼が交わるとき、試練が訪れる――心に留めてください。」

続けて、ウリエンジェはアリゼーに一振りの細剣を手渡す。

特別に仕立てられたその剣は、アリゼーのエーテル波長に合わせられていた。

「エーテルの刃は負担が大きい。これならば、あなたの力を最大限に引き出せるでしょう。」

剣の感触を確かめながら、アリゼーは静かに礼を言った。

「ありがとう、ウリエンジェ。この剣、大切にするわ。」

一行は、ウリエンジェの詩と贈り物を胸に刻みながら、長い航海へと旅立った。
