Built from one of Exodus’s long-standing communities, Cold Eclipse exists as a home for every kind of adventurer: from brand-new players beginning their journey, to veterans who have conquered Savage tiers and Ultimate encounters alike.

Our members come from every corner of Final Fantasy XIV. We have experienced raiders who enjoy mentoring others, master crafters and gatherers who keep the FC thriving, collectors chasing mounts and glamours, and casual players who simply enjoy relaxing with friends after a long day.

Our home in Kugane, known as **The Umbral Sanctum**, stands overlooking the sea beneath the glow of distant lanterns and moonlight. More than just an estate, it serves as the heart of Cold Eclipse — a gathering place where members prepare for raids, host events, craft gear, share stories, or simply unwind together.

Within its halls, artisans refine their craft while adventurers gather before journeys into the unknown. Outside, striking dummies stand ready for those honing rotations and preparing for the challenges ahead.

The Umbral Sanctum represents everything Cold Eclipse strives to be: welcoming, enduring, and built to support every kind of player.

? The Ranks of Cold Eclipse

Every rank within Cold Eclipse reflects the identity of our community and the journey members take beneath our banner.

New arrivals begin as **Duskwalkers** — travelers stepping beyond the fading light in search of something greater. As members grow alongside the FC, they rise as **Veilbound**, trusted members who strengthen the community, forge friendships, and leave their mark upon the eclipse.

Above them stand the **Dreadwardens** — the senior-most rank within Cold Eclipse, entrusted with guiding the FC, protecting its vision, and helping shape the future of the community itself.

These ranks are more than titles. They symbolize trust, loyalty, growth, and the lasting bonds formed beneath the shadow of the eclipse.

? Connected Beyond the Game

Our Discord server serves as the heartbeat of Cold Eclipse outside of FFXIV. It’s where we organize events, coordinate raids and treasure maps, share guides and resources, and stay connected even while offline.

More importantly, it’s where friendships naturally grow.

Whether through late-night voice chats, shared screenshots, memes, casual conversations, or helping one another through difficult content, many of our members have built friendships here that extend far beyond the game itself.

Cold Eclipse is not simply an FC people join.

Cold Eclipse is built around flexibility, respect, and allowing players to enjoy the game however they choose. Some members pursue high-end progression, while others focus on crafting, gathering, housing, glamour collecting, achievement hunting, or simply enjoying FC buffs while doing their own thing.

There is no pressure to constantly participate, no demand to perform perfectly, and no tolerance for drama.

Our experienced players are always willing to help newer raiders improve rotations, understand encounters, learn gearing systems, and gain confidence stepping into more difficult content. Whether your goal is clearing your first Extreme, progressing through Savage fights, or eventually challenging Ultimates, you’ll find people ready to support you every step of the way.

At the same time, we value players who simply want to relax, enjoy the story, run maps, decorate homes, collect glamours, or spend time with friends after a long day.
