    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

First established in 2014, Heartwood Ventures has grown alongside FFXIV since nearly the very beginning. We aim to provide an immersive role-playing environment while cultivating an active PvE experience.
We welcome folks from all levels of experience, both from an RP perspective, and newcomers to PvE alike. This is a place for all to feel welcome and comfortable, make friends, and enjoy their time in Eorzea!


<HW-VN> is best described as an adventurer's guild closely affiliated with Gridania's Order of the Twin Adders.
The free company is led and organized by Nyscera Nara, who is supported by Rising Lotus, Coroh Veldha, M'shara Rhaz, and Aislinn North. Heartwood's base of operations is located within the Lavender Beds (Ward 22, Plot 33), where bills, leves, and requests can be found on the job board within.
Members are offered room and board in return for their services, and have access to all of Heartwood's amenities, including but not limited to: an in-house clinic, basement lounge and tavern, and relaxing garden library.
We try to host 2-4 RP events per month, while likewise encouraging our members to host their own events and involve other members of the free company in their personal storylines.


Our veteran members are happy to provide guidance to those still learning gameplay, from MSQ, Deep Dungeon, Treasure Maps, and even Eureka, all the way up to extreme primals and savage content.
Additionally, we have several omni-crafters who are able to provide gear (for practical or glamour purposes!) and information.

Heartwood Ventures extends its arms out and welcomes those with great aspirations to better the realm while strengthening each other in the process. Warriors await to accompany you on perilous ventures, master crafters will supply you with all that you need and more, and the manse contains both access to work and the best medical services money can buy. At the end of the day, camaraderie and adventure are the fuel for our success, and with you, we burn ever brighter!
