  • About Free Companies

    A community to play together with friends on the same World.

    Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
    The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
    No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.

  • About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

    A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

    Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.

    Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
    Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
  • About PvP Teams

    A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

    Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

    PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

About the «GREAT» Tonbarrer Reef!

We're a rank 30 Free Company on Ravana looking for players to help us grow and make a fun community. We're a chill and inclusive FC so no matter what kind of player you are: veteran, new player, raider, crafter, roleplayer, you name it - you're welcome to join us!

You don't have any commitments to the Free Company, you could join and then leave after a day if you don't like it. Our hope is that you'll like us enough so that doesn't happen and you end up staying. If you join, you're not obliged to talk to other members, but we hope you will at least interact with each other from time to time - after all, FCs should be social!
We have a large house in Ishgard next to the hot springs for our FC members to hang out in. It's fully decorated and will be the venue for a number of our Free Company events!

We're aiming for a good balance between activity and player count so that people never feel drowned out or ignored in the Free Company but also always have people to do stuff with. If that sounds like something you want to help build, then you're more than welcome to join us and be part of it and we would love to have people like that. We're aiming for around 50 people, which will hopefully allow for decent engagement between members and give opportunities to run content with each other.

If these things sound good to you, we would absolutely love to have you be part of our community! We're still building up numbers so there's opportunities for Officer positions as we increase our numbers and find trustworthy people up for that kind of responsibility. However, if just being part of a fun community is enough for you then you're more than welcome to join just for that!

Some of the things you can get from joining us include:

Daily Free Company Buffs - the usual with FCs, buffs to help you level stuff or to give cheaper teleports and all that. We're charging level 3 buffs to use in special cases too!
Free Company Events - we do old content mount runs, glamour contests, FFXIV trivia nights and whatever seems like a fun thing to do for the free company!
Free Company Chest - we have a Free Company chest that members can access. This sometimes contains free goodies like minions that you can take. All that's expected with this is that you don't get greedy, and maybe pay it forward by donating something too!
Discord Server - it will be where we give announcements for events that will be happening for the Free Company and also chat with other members. If you would like to check it out, you can join with the following link: https://discord.gg/KSJR47k9SJ

Some of the things we'll do as we get more members:

Larger scale events - we could do alliance raids with the FC, do some hide and seek around the overworld, have some other kinds of events in our mansion and more!
More frequent events - as it stands, we don't really have the active player count to consistently run events every week but as we get more people, we're hoping to make it more frequent to allow everyone the opportunity to participate.
...And more! - we'll listen to our member's suggestions to us and as long as it's a reasonable request and is possible, we'll see what we can do to make it happen!

I've always played solo and passively, but there's so much content and aspects of this game I'm missing out on and I've always wanted to take the leap to be more social and actually be part of a community and contribute to something bigger.
