CRYSTALLINE CONFLICT REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 – NORTH AMERICA PVP TOURNAMENT RULES (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

1. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:
   • For legal residents of any Promotion Jurisdiction (defined below): https://square-enix-games.com/en_US/documents/promotion-additional-rules.
2. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):
   • The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
   • Canada (excluding Quebec).
   • Mexico.
3. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, at the date and time of entry.
4. Entry Period: You may register to participate in the Promotion only between April 26, 2023 at 12:00 AM (United States’ Pacific Time) and May 7, 2023 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) (the “Entry Period”). Up to thirty-two (32) teams may participate in the Promotion. If more than thirty-two (32) Teams register during the Entry Period, the Sponsor will use the following methodology to select the participating Teams:
   • Result of their previous Crystalline Conflict season status;
   • Accuracy of the information registered on the Square Enix account; and
   • In-game play status.
5. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must comply with the following:
   
   
   • General Rules
     1. You must have and maintain your own active FINAL FANTASY XIV (the “Game”) North American Square Enix account and must use this account throughout the Promotion.
     2. You must have a playable character in the North American data center (Aether/Primal/Crystal/Dynamis) that can participate in the Crystalline Conflict;
     3. You must be able to communicate using Discord (voice and text chat) software;
     4. Be willing and able to attend the following events:
        1. Saturday, June 3, 2023 – Preliminaries Day 1
        2. Sunday, June 4, 2023 – Preliminaries Day 2
        3. Saturday, June 10, 2023 – Preliminaries Day 3
        4. Sunday, June 11, 2023 – Preliminaries Day 4
        5. Saturday, June 17, 2023 – Quarterfinals Day 1
        6. Sunday, June 18, 2023 – Quarterfinals Day 2
        7. Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – Travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
        8. Thursday, July 27, 2023 – Fan Festival Day 0 – Setup
        9. Friday, July 28, 2023 – Fan Festival Day 1
        10. Saturday, July 29, 2023 – Fan Festival Day 2
        11. Sunday, July 30, 2023 – Return from Las Vegas
     5. Be willing and able (both physically and legally) to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to participate in the Game at Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas (“Fan Festival”) from Wednesday, July 26, 2023 through Saturday, July 29, 2023 (for example, if you reside outside the United States, you must have a valid passport and may be required to have a valid visa).
     6. Form a player-versus-player team (a “Team”) consisting of between a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of seven (7) players. If at any point the Team has less than five (5) members, the Team is disqualified. Once a Team registration is submitted, you may not add any new members to the Team. The following information is required to register:
        1. The Team name;
        2. Each Team member’s character name;
        3. Each Team member’s Home World;
        4. Each Team member’s character profile (character profile URL can be found by logging into the Lodestone and visiting your character profile; example: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/00000000/); and
        5. One (1) in-game screenshot of the Team.
     7. Each player may only participate on one (1) Team during the Promotion.
     8. Each member of the Team must be eligible to enter this Promotion and must have read and agreed to the Official Rules for the Promotion before participating.
     Please note that an email will be sent to the email address registered to the Square Enix account of the player registering the Team. Please verify beforehand that the email address registered on the Square Enix account is correct before submitting the registration. A link to the Official Rules will be included as part of the email.
     
     Only a single registration is required per Team. Each member does not need to submit a separate registration for the same Team. Limit one (1) registration per Team.
     
     Players or Teams may not change their character names or Team names without approval from Sponsor. All such names must comply with these Key Rules and Sponsor may request that they be changed at any time. A roster shall not contain duplicates of the same name, names that consist only of symbols, or names that are difficult to distinguish from one another.
     
     Tournament Play
     
     Rules for all Stages
   • A "match" is defined as series of "rounds" played between two Teams.
   • Stage Effects will be enabled.
   • Kits may be used.
   • In-game macros may be used.
   • The Quick Chat feature may be used.
   • A Team must be comprised of five (5) players of differing jobs during all rounds and matches.
   • Team members may freely change jobs between rounds as long as they meet the composition requirement.
   • Teams may switch members per match, but not per round.
   • If a Team is disqualified, the next eligible Team will advance.
   • Any equipment and/or network-related issues will be the responsibility of the player.
   • For the online portion of the Promotion, players must prepare all hardware themselves.
   • If at any point for any reason a Team is unable to participate in a match, the opposing Team will be declared the winner of that match.
   • In a situation where a match cannot advance due to issues such as a server outage, that match will be null, and a rematch will be held.
   Preliminaries (Online)
   
   Teams will be divided into eight (8) brackets. The matches will be a round-robin within each bracket. The number of Teams in each bracket will be determined by the total number of Teams participating in the Promotion, up to thirty-two (32) Teams. The winners for each match will be determined by best-of-three (BO3). The top two (2) Teams from each bracket will proceed to the Quarterfinals. The arena for each round will be randomly chosen by the host from one of the following four (4) arenas: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, or The Clockwork Castletown.
   
   A round which enters overtime and does not have a winner at the conclusion of the round will be considered a tie.
   
   If, during the round-robin, the Teams win the same number of matches, the winning Team will be determined based on the following criteria:
   
   1.Highest total progress record across their winning matches.
   2.Shortest total match time across their winning matches.
   
   Should the Teams have the same totals across their winning matches, then a single round match will be held between the tied Teams to break the tie.
   
   Quarterfinals (Online + Livestream)
   
   Two (2) brackets from Preliminaries will be matched together with four (4) Teams per bracket to take part in elimination style match. The winners for each match will be determined by best-of-three (BO3). The winning Team of each bracket will proceed to the Semifinals. The arena for each round will be randomly chosen by the host from one of the following four (4) arenas: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, or The Clockwork Castletown.
   
   A round which enters overtime and does not have a winner at the conclusion of the round will be considered a tie.
   
   Should the Teams win the same number of matches, then a single round match will be held between the tied Teams to break the tie.
   
   Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas – Semifinals and Finals
   
   Roundtrip air transportation and standard hotel accommodations for four (4) nights (Wednesday, July 26, 2023 to Sunday, July 30, 2023) as well as a ticket to the Fan Festival will be provided to each Team member qualifying for the Semifinals. Meals, certain ground transportation, and any other expenses will be the sole responsibility of each Team member. Travel itineraries will be determined by Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee.
   
   Team members will be required to execute and return a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability and, unless prohibited, Publicity Release. If a Team member does not return all required documentation within the time period stated by Sponsor, or a Team member otherwise is not in compliance with these Official Rules, they will be disqualified.
   
   Team members must verify that their name and address matches the information contained in their Square Enix Account. An original form of identification such as a valid driver’s license, passport, or student ID will be required. Copies of identification will not be eligible. Team members should verify that the address associated with their Square Enix account is current and accurate. If the information is not accurate, they will be disqualified.
   
   The Semifinals and Finals may be recorded by Sponsor or its designee (“Fan Festival Footage”). Players understand that Sponsor shall own all right, title and interest in and to the Fan Festival Footage and grant to Sponsor and its designees, successors, assigns and licensees the right to edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, create screenshots, stills or derivative works based upon, or otherwise exploit the Fan Festival Footage and all elements embodied therein, along with their names, character names, Team names, biographical information, likenesses, performances, voices or images, in whole or in part, on their own or together with other materials for advertising, trade, promotional and other purposes, in all media now known or hereafter discovered (including, without limitation, posting the Fan Festival Footage on Sponsor’s websites (including, without limitation, its social media pages or accounts)), in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission. Sponsor has no obligation to make use of the rights granted herein. Released Parties (as defined in the Additional Rules) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of the Fan Festival Footage by third parties.
   
   All hardware will be provided by Sponsor, as follows:
   • Gaming PC
   • Gaming Headset
   • Keyboard
   • Mouse
   • Gamepad
   Team members may bring and use their personal keyboard, mouse, left-hand gaming device, and gamepad; however, macros from gaming software and gaming hardware are prohibited.
   
   A round which enters overtime and does not have a winner at the conclusion of the round will be considered a tie.
   
   Should the Teams win the same number of matches, then a single round match will be held between the tied Teams to break the tie.
   
   Semifinals (Live + Livestream)
   
   The matches will be held on-stage and will be livestreamed. The top four (4) eligible Teams from the Quarterfinals will compete in an elimination style match, with the winner of each match determined by best-of-three (BO3). The arena for each round will be randomly chosen by the host from one of the following four (4) arenas: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, and The Clockwork Castletown.
   
   Finals (Live + Livestream)
   
   The matches will be held on-stage and will be livestreamed. The top two (2) eligible Teams from the Semifinals will take part in a best-of-five (BO5) match to determine the Crystalline Conflict Regional Champion in North America. The arena for the first four (4) rounds will be randomly chosen by the host from one of the following four (4) arenas: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, and The Clockwork Castletown. The fifth round, if needed, will be held in The Palaistra.
   
   PLAYER CONDUCT AND GAMEPLAY FOR THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT:
   
   
   • Players must be in good standing with respect to any Game accounts registered by said player, with no undisclosed violations or player is not eligible to enter or participate in the Promotion. Players must also be free of or served fully any penalties from previously breaking any official Game rules or player is not eligible to enter or participate in the Promotion.
   • If, at any time during the Promotion, a player becomes ineligible, Sponsor can disqualify such player from further play.
   • Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any ineligible or withdrawn Team with an invitation to the next eligible Team (if any).
   • Players are responsible for understanding the rules of the Game. Unless otherwise specified by Sponsor, all normal rules of gameplay will apply. A comprehensive gameplay overview and rules are available at https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/contentsguide/crystallineconflict/.
   • Players must conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Players who engage in unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, toxic, harassing, or threatening conduct, or violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in any tournament, or attempt to obtain winner status using fraudulent means, including, without limitation, cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair practices may be disqualified.
   • Players must abide by all requests and directions of Sponsor.
   • Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any player from participation including, but not limited to, situations where the player violates these Official Rules or provisions of applicable laws.
   • If a Team cannot participate in a match, chooses not to participate in a match, or otherwise indicates to Sponsor that it will not participate in match, or if a Team is disqualified during a match, for any reason, the opponent Team shall win the match by default.
   • Winning status is subject to verification including any suspected errors or anomalies in the game that may have affected the displayed results.
   • Players must have access to the Internet and a personal computer. Players are responsible for ensuring they have access to each and may be deemed ineligible if they fail to meet these requirements.
   • For the avoidance of doubt, players and/or Teams may be disqualified and an account penalty issued for, including, but not limited to:
     • deliberately causing delays or impeding the progress of the Promotion;
     • using another player’s Square Enix account to participate in Promotion;
     • transferring or selling the rights to participate in the Promotion to a third party;
     • actions that affect the outcome of a match by cooperating with other players, such as ‘win-trading’
     • actions that lead to using the Promotion as a form of profit.
     • activities that are prohibited by the Official Rules, the Game EULA, and/or Square Enix Account agreement; and/or;
     • activities that Sponsor deems as an illicit activity or that could bring the player, Team, Sponsor, and/or Promotion in disrepute or a negative light.
   All decisions of the Sponsor are final in all matters relating to Game integrity, including player conduct and rule interpretation, for this this Promotion.
   
   
   • Additional Terms
     1. If a Team cannot participate in a match, chooses not to participate in a match, or otherwise indicates to Sponsor that it will not participate in match, or if a Team is disqualified during a match, for any reason, the opponent Team shall win the match by default.
     2. If a Team is disqualified during the Semifinals or Finals (other than during a match), the next-highest-ranking eligible Team will take the disqualified Team’s place.
     3. You must adhere to the Game User Agreement and all other applicable Game/Sponsor policies and terms.
     4. In-game spectators are not allowed within any matches, except for Sponsor and its designees.
     5. You must be able to communicate in English.
     6. Boosting: You may not advertise, sell, purchase, or exchange any boosting service. You may not play for the purpose of acquiring virtual items, rewards, or advancement in gameplay on behalf of a third-party.
     7. Win-trading: You may not abuse matches in order to force a match result in or against your favor. This includes force disconnecting and failure to perform any actions in match.
     8. Poor Sportsmanship: You must avoid any actions or behavior inconsistent with principles of basic sportsmanship, honesty, and fair play. You must not engage in violence or use offensive language. You must not abuse game exploits, hacks, or other in-game issues.
     9. You may not damage any hardware or other equipment or technology provided to you by Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee.
     10. You may not deliberately or negligently cause delays or impede the progress of the Promotion.
     11. You must not use any other person’s Square Enix Account, or permit any person to use your Square Enix Account, during the Promotion.
     12. You must not use the Promotion to obtain or generate any profit for yourself or for anyone else other than Square Enix and its designees.
     13. You must promptly comply with all posted instructions and rules, and all instructions and rules otherwise provided by Promotion staff, venue staff, or Sponsor staff, before, during, and after the Promotion.
     14. You must immediately raise all complaints and/or disputes about gameplay or Promotion procedures, or any other aspect of the Promotion, with the Promotion staff. You waive any complaints or disputes that you do not immediately raise to the Promotion staff. Promotion staff will have complete discretion to adjudicate all complaints and disputes about gameplay or Promotion procedures, or any other aspect of the Promotion.
     15. Promotion staff may alter the Promotion or Game structure, or grant variances in the Promotion or Game rules, based on the Promotion staff’s judgment and discretion in order to ensure fair play and results.
     16. Promotion staff decisions are final and cannot be further appealed or challenged.
     17. Each entrant and each Team is solely responsible for ensuring that his/her/their/its equipment, network connection, etc. are adequate to participate in the Promotion and are issue and interruption free.
     18. In the event of a bug or glitch that affects gameplay, the full match should be played out unless otherwise decided by Sponsor. Sponsor may, in its discretion, pause Gameplay at any time and for any reason related (but not limited) to preserving the integrity, fairness, accessibility, technical feasibility, and timeliness of the Game. In the event of a stoppage of play, players will be notified and must remain at their devices and may not communicate with other players until Gameplay is resumed. Sponsor may order Gameplay restarted due to exceptional circumstances, such as if a bug affects a player’s ability to play or the gameplay is disrupted by a force majeure event. Sponsor reserves the right to add, remove, modify, reschedule, and/or delete any match or round for any reason, including without limitation, if in its sole judgment, that match’s or round's integrity has been compromised by an unforeseen technical issue and/or error.
     19. If a match during the Semifinals or Finals cannot be completed due to a server outage or similar technology issues related to Sponsor’s servers or technology, then the match will be null, and a rematch will be held.
     20. During the Semifinals and Finals, entrants may not wear clothing with visible logos or trademarks, or any sponsored clothing. Each Team may wear their own uniform if they wish to do so. Such uniforms cannot include any third-party names or logos or any images that may infringe on any entity’s rights. All uniforms are subject to approval by Square Enix staff before team members can appear on stage.
6. Winner Selection: The Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, shall select as winners four (4) Teams of between five (5) and seven (7) entrants each (so, a total of between twenty (20) and twenty-eight (28) entrants) from among all entries using the methodology described above.
7. Prize(s): The winners shall receive the following prize(s):
   • The winning Team will receive Twenty-Two Thousand Five Hundred United States Dollars ($22,500.00 USD) to be divided equally among all Team members.
   • In addition, each member of the four (4) finalist Teams shall receive the following prizes:
     1. A trip to Las Vegas, Nevada to participate in the Finals during the Game Fan Festival (approximate retail value of $2,000 USD).
     2. One (1) ticket to attend the Game Fan Festival (approximate retail value of $200 USD).
        (Total approximate retail value: $2,200.00 USD)
   The trip prizes shall include:
   • Round-trip coach class air transportation for one (1) person from a regional airport near the winner’s home in the Promotion Jurisdiction (Sponsor to select the airport) to an airport in or near Las Vegas, Nevada.
   • Round-trip ground transportation for one (1) person between the airport in or near Las Vegas, Nevada to a hotel in or near Las Vegas, Nevada.
   • Four (4) nights, five (5) days standard hotel accommodations (one room) for one (1) person in or near Las Vegas, Nevada. Hotel to be determined by Sponsor.
   Sponsor shall not provide (i) transportation other than as expressly stated above or (ii) meals. Winners are fully responsible for all costs associated with the prizes that are not expressly stated herein. Please see the Additional Rules for more terms and conditions about trip prizes.
8. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor's designee, will notify winner(s) of their final positions in the tournament by or about July 29, 2023, via email or in-person communication.
9. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc., 999 N. Pacific Coast Highway, 3rd Floor, El Segundo, CA 90245, USA.
10. Misc. Rules: You must follow all relevant health and safety guidelines of your video game platform (if applicable) and the following general guidelines: a) take occasional rest breaks during extended play, b) maintain a healthy sleep schedule and diet, c) avoid playing when tired or needing sleep, d) stop playing immediately and consult a doctor if you experience any of the following: lightheadedness, nausea, motion sickness, discomfort or pain, dizziness, eye or muscle twitches, disorientation, involuntary movement, altered visions, loss of awareness, seizures, convulsion, or any other negative physical or mental effects or conditions.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any translated version of these Key Rules and the Additional Rules, and the English version of these rules, the English version shall prevail, govern, and control.

CAMPEONATO REGIONAL CRYSTALLINE CONFLICT 2023 – REGLAS DEL TORNEO PVP PARA NORTE AMÉRICA (LA “PROMOCIÓN”) REGLAS OFICIALES

REGLAS PRINCIPALES

1. Reglas Oficiales: Las Reglas Oficiales para esta Promoción consisten en ambas (i) estas reglas principales que resumen las reglas importantes para participar en la Promoción (las “Reglas Principales”) y (ii) las Reglas Oficiales Adicionales de la Promoción (“Reglas Adicionales”) aplicables a su lugar de residencia legal.         8. Jueves 27 de julio de 2023 – Festival de fans día 0 – Organización
        9. Viernes 28 de julio de 2023 – Festival de fans día 1
        10. Sábado 29 de julio de 2023 – Festival de fans día 2
        11. Domingo 30 de julio de 2023 – Vuelta de Las Vegas
     5. Estar dispuesto a y poder viajar a Las Vegas, Nevada (física y legalmente) para participar en el juego en Fan Festival 2023 en Las Vegas (“Festival de fans”) desde el miércoles 26 de julio a sábado 29 de julio de 2023 (por ejemplo, si reside fuera de los Estados Unidos, debe tener un pasaporte en vigor y quizá pueda necesitar tener un visado válido).
     6. Formar un equipo jugador contra jugador (un “Equipo”) compuesto por un mínimo de cinco (5) jugadores y un máximo de siete (7) jugadores. Si en algún momento el Equipo tiene menos de cinco (5) miembros, el Equipo quedará descalificado. Después de haber enviado la inscripción del Equipo, no podrá añadir más miembros al Equipo. Para inscribirse es necesario proporcionar la siguiente información:
        1. El nombre del Equipo;
        2. El nombre del personaje de cada miembro del Equipo;
        3. El Home World de cada miembro del Equipo;
        4. El perfil del personaje de cada miembro del Equipo (puede encontrar el URL del perfil de cada personaje iniciando sesión en the Lodestone y visitando el perfil de su personaje; ejemplo: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/00000000/); y
        5. Una (1) captura de pantalla del Equipo durante el juego.

     8. Cada miembro del Equipo debe ser elegible para inscribirse en esta Promoción y debe haber leído y aceptado las Reglas Oficiales de la Promoción antes de participar.
     Rogamos advierta que enviaremos un correo electrónico a la dirección de correo electrónico registrada en la cuenta de Square Enix del jugador que registre al Equipo. Verifique de antemano que la dirección de correo electrónico registrada en la cuenta de Square Enix es correcta antes de enviar la inscripción. Este correo electrónico incluirá un enlace a las Reglas Oficiales.
     
     Solo es necesaria una sola inscripción por Equipo. No es necesario que cada miembro envíe una inscripción separada para el mismo Equipo. Límite de una (1) inscripción por Equipo.
     
     Los jugadores o los Equipos no podrán cambiar los nombres de sus personales o de los Equipos sin la aprobación previa del Patrocinador. Todos los nombres deben cumplir con estas Reglas Principales y el Patrocinador podrá solicitar que se cambien en cualquier momento. Una lista no incluirá duplicados del mismo nombre, nombres compuestos solo por símbolos o nombres difíciles de distinguir entre sí.
     
     Torneo
     
     Reglas para todas las Etapas
   • Un "partido" se define como una serie de "rondas" jugadas entre dos Equipos.
   • Stage Effects estará habilitado.
   • Podrán usarse Kits.
   • Podrán usarse macros de juego.
   • Podrá usarse la función Quick Chat.
   • Un Equipo debe estar compuesto por cinco (5) jugadores que realicen trabajos diferentes durante todas las rondas y partidos.
   • Los miembros del Equipo podrán cambiar de trabajo libremente entre rondas siempre y cuando cumplan el requisito de composición.
   • Los Equipos podrán cambiar sus miembros para cada Partido, pero no para cada ronda.
   • Si un equipo queda descalificado, avanzará el siguiente Equipo elegible.
   • Todos los problemas asociados con equipos y/o la red serán responsabilidad del jugador.
   • Para la parte en línea de la Promoción, los jugadores deben preparar todo el hardware ellos mismos.
   • Si en algún punto y por la razón que fuere un Equipo no puede participar en un partido, el equipo contrario será declarado ganador de ese partido.
   • En una situación en la que un Partido no puede avanzar debido a problemas como la caída de un servidor, el partido se declarará nulo y se celebrará un partido de vuelta.
   Eliminatorias (en línea)
   
   Los Equipos se dividirán en ocho (8) grupos. Los partidos serán todos contra todos dentro de cada grupo. El número de Equipos de cada grupo se determinará por el total de Equipos participantes en la Promoción, hasta un máximo de treinta y dos (32) Equipos. Los ganadores de cada Partido se determinarán según el mejor de tres (BO3). Los dos (2) Equipos clasificados más altos en cada grupo pasarán a los cuartos de final. El patrocinador elegirá al azar el escenario para cada ronda de uno de los siguientes cuatro (4) escenarios: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, o The Clockwork Castletown.
   
   Una ronda en la que se juegue tiempo extra y no tenga un ganador cuando termine se considerará un empate.
   
   Si, durante la ronda todos contra todos, los Equipos ganan el mismo número de partidos, el Equipo ganador se determinará ateniéndose a los siguientes criterios:
   
   1.Récord de progreso más alto de todos sus partidos ganados.
   2.Tiempo más corto de partido de todos sus partidos ganados.
   
   En caso de que los Equipos tengan los mismos totales en sus partidos ganados, entonces se jugará un partido de una sola ronda entre los Equipos empatados para romper el empate.
   
   Cuartos de final (en línea + transmisión en vivo)
   
   Se emparejarán juntos dos (2) grupos de las Eliminatorias con cuatro (4) Equipos por grupo que participarán en partidos de estilo de eliminación. Los ganadores de cada Partido se determinarán según el mejor de tres (BO3). El Equipo ganador de cada grupo pasará a las semifinales. El patrocinador elegirá al azar el escenario para cada ronda de uno de los siguientes cuatro (4) escenarios: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, o The Clockwork Castletown.
   
   Una ronda en la que se juegue tiempo extra y no tenga un ganador cuando termine se considerará un empate.

   Festival de fans 2023 en Las Vegas – Semifinales y Finales
   
   Cada miembro del Equipo clasificado para las semifinales recibirá transporte aéreo de ida y vuelta y alojamiento estándar en hoteles para cuatro (4) noches (del miércoles 26 de julio de 2023 al domingo 30 de julio de 2023) además de una entrada para el Festival de fans. Las dietas, algún transporte por tierra, y cualquier otro gasto serán la exclusiva responsabilidad de cada miembro del Equipo. El Patrocinador o el designado del Patrocinador determinará los itinerarios de viaje.
   
   Se requerirá que los miembros del Equipo ejecuten y remitan una Declaración de elegibilidad, responsabilidad y, a menos que se prohíba, una autorización de publicidad. Si un Miembro del Equipo no remite todos los documentos requeridos en el periodo de tiempo establecido por el Patrocinador o si un miembro del Equipo no cumple estas Reglas Oficiales, será descalificado.
   
   Los miembros del Equipo deben verificar que su nombre y dirección se corresponda con la información contenida en su cuenta de Square Enix. Se requerirá una forma de identificación original como un permiso de conducción en vigor, pasaporte o tarjeta de estudiante. Las copias del documento de identificación no serán válidas. Los miembros del Equipo deberían verificar que la dirección asociada con su cuenta de Square Enix está actualizada y es exacta, si la información no es exacta, serán descalificados.
   
   El Patrocinador o su designado podrá grabar las Semifinales y las Finales (“Imágenes del Festival de Fans”). Los jugadores entienden que el Patrocinador poseerá todos los derechos, títulos e intereses en y para las Imágenes del Festival de Fans y otorga al Patrocinador y a sus designados, sucesores, cesionarios y licenciantes el derecho a editar, modificar, reproducir, distribuir, mostrar, realizar, crear capturas de pantalla, imágenes fijas u obras derivadas basadas en o de otro modo explotar las imágenes del Festival de Fans y todos los elementos comprendidos en ellas, junto con sus nombres, nombres de personajes, nombres de Equipos, información biográfica, apariencia, actuaciones, voces o imágenes, en todo o en parte, ellas solas o junto con otros materiales con fines publicitarios, comerciales, promocionales y otros, en todos los medios ahora conocidos o por divisarse en el futuro (incluyendo, entre otros, publicar las Imágenes del Festival de Fans en los sitios web del Patrocinador (incluyendo, entre otros, sus páginas de redes sociales o cuentas)), de cualquier forma, en todo el mundo a perpetuidad sin indemnización, notificación o permiso adicionales.    El Patrocinador proporcionará todo el hardware, a saber:
   • PC de juego
   • Auriculares de juego
   • Teclado
   • Ratón
   • Gamepad
   Los miembros del Equipo podrán traer y usar sus teclados, ratones, dispositivos de juego para zurdos y gamepads personales; sin embargo, los macros del software de juegos y el hardware de juegos están prohibidos.
   
   Una ronda en la que se juegue tiempo extra y no tenga un ganador cuando termine se considerará un empate.
   
   En caso de que los Equipos ganen el mismo número de partidos, entonces se jugará un partido de una sola ronda entre los Equipos empatados para romper el empate.
   
   
   Semifinales (en vivo + transmisión en vivo)
   
   Los partidos se celebrarán en un escenario y se transmitirán en vivo. Los cuatro (4) primeros Equipos elegibles de los Cuartos de final competirán en un Partido tipo eliminatorio, en el que el ganador de cada partido se determinará por el mejor de tres (BO3). El patrocinador elegirá al azar el escenario para cada ronda de uno de los siguientes cuatro (4) escenarios: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, o The Clockwork Castletown.
   
   Finales (en vivo + transmisión en vivo))
   
   Los partidos se celebrarán en un escenario y se transmitirán en vivo. Los dos (2) primeros Equipos elegibles de las Semifinales competirán en un partido el mejor de cinco (BO5) que determinará el Campeón Regional Crystalline Conflict en Norte América. El patrocinador elegirá al azar el escenario para cada ronda de uno de los siguientes cuatro (4) escenarios: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, o The Clockwork Castletown. La quinta ronda, de ser necesaria, se jugará en The Palaistra.
   
   CONDUCTA DEL JUGADOR Y JUEGO PARA TODO EL TORNEO:
   
   • Los jugadores deben estar al día con respecto a cualquier cuenta de Juego registrada por dicho jugador, sin violaciones no reveladas o el jugador no será elegible para inscribirse o participar en la Promoción. Los jugadores también deben estar libres de o haber cumplido todas las sanciones por haber incumplido previamente cualquier regla oficial del Juego o el jugador no será elegible para inscribirse o participar en la Promoción.
   • Si, en algún momento durante la Promoción, un jugador se vuelve inelegible, el Patrocinador puede descalificar a dicho jugador del juego.
   • El Patrocinador se reserve el derecho a sustituir a cualquier jugador ilegible o retirar el Equipo e invitar al siguiente Equipo elegible (de haberlo).
   • Los Jugadores son responsables de entender las reglas del Juego. A menos que el Patrocinador lo especifique de otro modo, se aplicarán todas las reglas normales del juego.    • Los jugadores deben comportarse con espíritu deportivo. Los jugadores que se comporten de forma antideportiva, perjudicial, molesta, tóxica, acosadora o amenazante o violen alguna regla, obtengan una ventaja injusta al participar en cualquier torneo o traten de obtener el estado de ganadores utilizando métodos fraudulentos, incluyendo, entre otros, haciendo trampas, pirateo, engaño u otras prácticas injustas podrán ser descalificados.
   • Los jugadores deben acatar todas las peticiones e instrucciones del Patrocinador.
   • El Patrocinador se reserva el derecho de descalificar a cualquier jugador de participar, incluyendo, entre otros, situaciones en las que el jugador viole estas Reglas Oficiales o las disposiciones de la legislación aplicable.
   • Si un Equipo no puede participar en un Partido, opta por no participar en un Partido o de otro modo indica al Patrocinador que no participará en un partido o si un equipo es descalificado durante un partido, por la razón que fuere, el Equipo contrario ganará el partido por defecto.
   • El estado de ganador está sujeto a verificación, incluyendo cualquier error o anomalías sospechados en el juego que pudieran afectar los resultados mostrados.
   • Los Jugadores deben tener acceso a Internet y a un ordenador personal. Los jugadores son responsables de asegurar que tienen acceso a cada uno de ellos y podrán ser considerados no elegibles si no cumplen estos requisitos.
   • Para evitar dudas, los jugadores y/o los Equipos podrán ser descalificados y emitírseles una penalización a su cuenta por, incluyendo, entre otros:
     • ocasionar demoras deliberadamente o impedir el progreso de la Promoción;
     • utilizar la cuenta de Square Enix de otro jugador para participar en la Promoción;
     • transferir o vender los derechos de participación en la Promoción a un tercero;
     • actos que afecten el resultado de un Partido cooperando con otros jugadores, por ejemplo, ‘vender victorias’
     • actos que deriven en el uso de la Promoción como una forma de ganancia.
     • actividades que estén prohibidas por la Reglas Oficiales, el EULA del juego y/o el contrato de la cuenta de Square Enix; y/o;
     • actividades que el Patrocinador considere una actividad ilícita o que pudiera desacreditar o afectar de manera negativa al jugador, el Equipo, el Patrocinador y/o la Promoción.
   Todas las decisiones del Patrocinador asociadas con esta Promoción son definitivas en todos los asuntos concernientes a la integridad del Juego, incluyendo la conducta del jugador y la interpretación de las reglas.
   
   
   • Condiciones adicionales
     1. Si un Equipo no puede participar en un partido, opta por no participar en un partido o de otro modo indica al Patrocinador que no participará en un partido o si un equipo es descalificado durante un partido, por la razón que fuere, el Equipo contrario ganará el partido por defecto.
     2. Si un Equipo es descalificado durante las Semifinales o las Finales (salvo en un partido), el siguiente equipo elegible clasificado más alto ocupará el lugar del equipo descalificado.
     3. Debe acatar el Acuerdo de Usuario del Juego y todas las políticas y condiciones aplicables del Juego/Patrocinador.
     4. No están permitidos los espectadores en el juego durante los partidos, salvo por el Patrocinador y sus designados.
     5. Debe ser capaz de comunicarse en inglés.
     6. Potenciación: No tiene permitido anunciar, vender, comprar o intercambiar ningún servicio de potenciación. No podrá jugar con el fin de adquirir artículos virtuales, recompensas o avances en el juego en nombre de un tercero.
     7. Vender victorias: No podrá abusar los partidos con el fin de forzar el resultado de un partido a su favor o en contra. Este incluye desconexiones forzadas y no realización de alguna de las acciones del partido.
     8. Falta de deportividad: Debe evitar toda acción o comportamiento inconsistente con los principios de la deportividad básica, honestidad y juego justo. No debe ejercer la violencia ni usar un lenguaje ofensivo. No debe abusar las hazañas del juego, trucos ni ningún otro problema del juego.
     9. No podrá dañar ningún hardware u otros equipos o tecnología que le proporcione el Patrocinador o el designado del Patrocinador.
     10. No podrá, ni deliberada ni negligentemente, ocasionar demoras o impedir el progreso de la Promoción.
     11. No debe usar la Cuenta de Square Enix de ninguna otra persona ni permitir que ninguna persona use su Cuenta de Square Enix durante la Promoción.
     12. No debe usar la Promoción para obtener o generar beneficios para usted o cualquier otra persona salvo Square Enix y sus designados.
     13. Debe cumplir oportunamente todas las instrucciones y reglas publicadas o de otro modo proporcionadas por el personal de la Promoción, el personal de las instalaciones o el personal del Patrocinador, antes, durante y después de la Promoción.
     14. Debe presentar inmediatamente todas las reclamaciones y/o disputas sobre el juego o los procedimientos de la Promoción o sobre cualquier otro aspecto de la Promoción al personal de la Promoción. Usted renuncia a todas las reclamaciones o disputas que no presente inmediatamente al personal de la Promoción. El personal de la Promoción tendrá discreción absoluta para adjudicar todas las quejas y disputas sobre el juego o los procedimientos de la Promoción o sobre cualquier otro aspecto de la Promoción.
     15. El personal de la Promoción podrá modificar la estructura de la Promoción o del Juego u otorgar variaciones en las reglas de la Promoción o del Juego, según el juicio y la discreción del personal de la Promoción al objeto de garantizar un juego y resultados justos.
     16. Las decisiones del personal de la Promoción son definitivas y tampoco podrán apelarse o imputarse.
     17. Cada participante y cada Equipo son exclusivamente responsables de asegurar que sus equipos, conexiones a la red, etc. sean adecuadas para participar en la promoción y no presenten problemas ni interrupciones.
     18. En caso de un error o problema que afecte el juego, debería jugarse todo el partido a menos que el Patrocinador decida lo contrario. El Patrocinador podrá, a discreción suya, interrumpir el juego en cualquier momento y por la razón que fuere para (pero sin limitarse a) preservar la integridad, imparcialidad, accesibilidad, viabilidad técnica y puntualidad del Juego. En el caso de que el Juego se interrumpa, los jugadores serán notificados y deben permanecer junto a sus dispositivos sin comunicarse con otros jugadores hasta que el juego se reanude. El Patrocinador podrá ordenar que el Juego se reinicie cuando se den circunstancias excepcionales, por ejemplo, si un error informático afecta la habilidad de un jugador para jugar o si el juego se interrumpe debido a un evento de fuerza mayor. El patrocinador se reserve el derecho de agregar, quitar, modificar, reprogramar y/o eliminar cualquier Partido o ronda por la razón que fuere, incluyendo, entre otros, si a su exclusivo juicio, la integridad de ese partido o ronda se ha visto comprometida por un problema técnico imprevisto y/o un error.
     19. En el caso de que un partido no pueda completarse durante las Semifinales o las Finales debido la caída de un servidor o problemas tecnológicos similares asociados con los servidores o la tecnología del Patrocinador, entonces el partido se declarará nulo y se celebrará un partido de vuelta.
     20. Durante las Semifinales y las Finales, los participantes no podrán llevar ropa con logotipos o marcas comerciales visibles ni ropa patrocinada. Cada equipo podrá llevar su propio uniforme si así lo desea. Estos uniformes no podrán incluir el nombre o el logotipo de terceros, así como imágenes que infrinjan los derechos de cualquier entidad. Todos los uniformes están sujetos a la aprobación de Square Enix antes de que los miembros del equipo aparezcan en el escenario.
6. Selección del ganador: El Patrocinador o su designado, seleccionará a cuatro (4) equipos ganadores de entre cinco (5) y siete (7) participantes cada uno (un total de entre veinte (20) y veintiocho (28) participantes) de entre todos los participantes que usan la metodología descrita anteriormente.
7. Premio(s): Los ganadores recibirán el (los) siguiente(s) premios(s):
   • El Equipo ganador recibirá veintidós mil quinientos dólares estadounidenses ($22.500,00 USD) a dividirse equitativamente entre todos los miembros del Equipo.
   • Además, cada miembro de los cuatro (4) Equipos finalistas recibirán los siguientes premios:
     1. Un viaje a Las Vegas, Nevada para participar en las Finales durante el festival de fans del Juego (valor de venta aproximado de $2.000 USD).
     2. Una (1) entrada para asistir al Festival de Fans del Juego (valor de venta aproximado $200 USD).

   Los premios del viaje incluirán:
   
   • Transporte aéreo de ida y vuelta en clase turista para una (1) persona de un aeropuerto regional cerca del lugar de residencia del ganador en la jurisdicción de la Promoción (el Patrocinador seleccionará el aeropuerto) a un aeropuerto en o cerca de Las Vegas, Nevada.
   • Viaje de ida y Vuelta por tierra para una (1) persona entre el aeropuerto de o cerca de Las Vegas, Nevada a un hotel en o cerca de Las Vegas, Nevada.
   • Cuatro (4) noches, cinco (5) días de alojamiento de hotel estándar (una habitación) para una (1) persona en o cerca de Las Vegas, Nevada. El Patrocinador determinará el hotel.
   El patrocinador no ofrecerá (i) ningún otro transporte salvo el expresamente indicado más arriba ni (ii) las dietas. Los Ganadores son los responsables exclusivos de todos los costes asociados con los premios no expresamente incluidos en el presente documento. 8. Notificación al ganador: el Patrocinador o el designado del Patrocinador notificará al ganador (es) de los puestos finales en el torneo para o alrededor del 29 de julio de 2023 por correo electrónico o en persona.

10.
