To Continue Running the Game on Windows® 7 and Mac 32-bit Applications (May 17)
Thank you for your continued support of FINAL FANTASY XIV.
As previously announced, Windows® 7 and Mac 32-bit applications are no longer supported by FINAL FANTASY XIV, but it has still been possible to run and play the game on them.
However, for security reasons, with Patch 6.15 we will be shutting down communications using TLS1.0/1.1, which will completely disable use of Windows® 7 and Mac 32-bit applications that do not support TLS1.2 or later.
If you plan to continue playing FINAL FANTASY XIV in either of these older OSs, please consider updating to their latest versions before the release of Patch 6.15.
