Temporary Changes to Purchasing Land

* The third adjustment has been updated in correspondence with the introduction of the housing lottery system in Patch 6.1. (4/12/2022)

The following adjustments have been made to provide more players access to housing and its features.

  • 1.

You may only purchase and maintain one private plot and one free company plot per World per service account.

  • 2.

A free company may only purchase land if it has four or more members.

  • 3.

Plots that become empty will be temporarily unavailable for purchase, lottery, or relocation.

Land Acquisition Limit per Service Account

You may only purchase and maintain one private plot and one free company plot per World per service account.

If you already have purchased both a private plot and a free company plot on the same World on one service account, you will not be able to purchase additional plots even if you log in with a different character.

If you leave the free company that maintains the plot you currently own, you will be able to purchase a new free company plot.

* Players possessing housing above this limit prior to patch 4.2 will not be affected by this change.
* It is possible to relocate estate halls to empty plots.

Ownership of Free Company Plots

Each free company may only maintain one estate plot at a time. (The free company cannot purchase additional plots, but moving to a different plot is possible.)

* If one character on a service account purchases and maintains a free company plot, no other characters on the same World associated with that service account will be able to purchase one.
* If the character leaves the free company that maintains this plot, characters on the account will be able to purchase a new plot.
* These conditions only apply to purchases made after the release of patch 4.2. Any land purchased before patch 4.2 will be unaffected, and no land or estates will be lost as a result of these changes.

Required Number of Free Company Members

A free company may only purchase land if it has four or more members.

Emptied Plots

Plots will be temporarily unavailable for purchase and cannot be moved into if they are emptied for any of the following reasons:

・Selecting "Relinquish Land" from the Housing menu
・Auto-demolition
・Relocation
・The character that owned the plot is deleted

How to Purchase Land

Plots of land are purchasable either on a first-come-first-serve basis or by lottery, as designated per housing area. In each of these areas, land will be designated as for purchase by free companies, private buyers, or free companies and private buyers.
* The purchasing method for land may be subject to change in future patches based on land availability.
* With the release of Patch 6.3, the option to purchase and relocate has been removed from this menu. Players will be relocated automatically in accordance with their plot ownership.

Free Company and Private Buyer Plots

When purchasing a plot of land available to both free companies and private buyers, you will first be presented with a Landowner Selection menu wherein you declare your purchase as a private individual or a free company.
* The Landowner Selection menu will not be displayed if you are not a member of a free company.
