The following additional services are available for FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Before using the Retainer Service, be sure to read the information at the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station.
The Retainer Service allows you to hire three or more retainers.
Retainers are helpful NPCs who can be hired by players to carry out such tasks as storing excess gil and gear, or selling unwanted items on the markets.
* Players must complete the quest The Scions of the Seventh Dawn before hiring a retainer.
Your FINAL FANTASY XIV subscription allows you to hire up to two retainers per character without paying any additional fees.
Should you desire additional retainers, the fees for the paid Retainer Service are as follows:

Accepted payment methods include credit card, Crysta, and payment via Steam Wallet.
* Game time cards cannot be used to pay for the Retainer Service.
* Only users registered through the Steam client can pay via Steam Wallet.
1. Subscription via Credit Card or Crysta
* If your service account has a recurring subscription, the retainer service will also be a recurring subscription, following the same billing cycle.
* Automatic renewal for the Retainer Service can be canceled independently from your service account subscription.
2. Monthly Payment via Game Time Cards
* If your service account subscription is paid via game card, your retainer service subscription must be renewed manually at the end of each period.
3. Monthly Payment via Steam Wallet
* If your service account subscription is paid via Steam Wallet, your retainer service subscription must be renewed manually at the end of each period.
However, please note that characters who have yet to unlock the retainer feature in-game will be unable to make use of additional retainers.
* If you subscribe to the additional retainer service while logged in to the game, you will need to re-login to have your subscription reflected.
While the order of retainers can be changed in the Sort Retainers menu, any placed in the third slot and below will be treated as additional (paid) retainers.
The retainers outlined below are additional retainers.
Retainers that have been released will not appear in the Retainer Selection or Sort Retainers menus. The numbers assigned to remaining retainers may change following the release of a retainer. Paid retainers may also become free retainers in such cases.
In the event the service period for additional retainers ends, items and gil will remain, but you must resubscribe to the service to access them.
1. Subscription via Credit Card, Crysta, or Steam Account (Auto Renewal)
It is possible to release an additional retainer during an auto renewal subscription period.
However, any change in the number of available retainers will not go into effect until the next billing cycle. Furthermore, there will be no refunds for releasing a retainer prior to the end of a billing cycle.
* Additional retainers will be available in-game until the next billing cycle.
Released additional retainers will become inaccessible in-game upon the start of the next billing cycle.
2. Monthly Payment via Game Time Cards
It is not possible to release an additional retainer during an active subscription period paid via game time card.
When the subscription period ends, players can choose a desired number of additional retainers when renewing the Retainer Service along with their service account subscription.
3. Monthly Payment via Steam Wallet
It is not possible to release an additional retainer during an active subscription period paid via Steam Wallet.
When the subscription period ends, players can choose a desired number of additional retainers when renewing the Retainer Service along with their service account subscription.
When viewing your available retainers in-game, the most recently added retainer will be located at the bottom of the list.
