PvP duties involve battles fought against other players rather than in-game creatures and incorporates an independent battle system with its own set of unique rules.
A job level 30 or higher is required to participate in Crystalline Conflict, Frontline, or Rival Wings.
When entering a PvP instance, all player attributes will be updated to their PvP counterparts.

Players will be limited to a unique set of actions and traits that can only be used in PvP duties. For more details about PvP actions and traits, please refer to the job guide.

When entering a PvP instance, all hotbars will be updated to their PvP counterparts.
Duties that allow players to change roles will be restricted to jobs only.
Spell casting cannot be interrupted by taking damage.

The limit gauge can be increased via combat, or by fulfilling certain conditions unique to PvP duties. Once the gauge is full, each individual player can unleash a Limit Break.

The Series Malmstones system provides unique rewards to players who participate in PvP during a given series. Achieved and upcoming malmstones can be confirmed via your PvP Profile.
* Series rewards earned can be claimed until the following Series ends.
Participate in PvP to earn Series EXP and increase your Series level. Increasing your Series level will unlock special Series rewards. Any levels gained above 30 will be tracked as "extra levels."
"Series" refers to a specific rewards period. As such, rewards will change when one Series ends and another begins. Any Series rewards earned can be claimed until the following Series ends.
Series rewards include Trophy Crystals, a new PvP currency. Both Trophy Crystals and Wolf Marks can be exchanged for various items.
Wolf Marks and Trophy Crystals can be exchanged for PvP gear and other items by speaking with the listed NPCs at the Wolves' Den.
