Patch 3.41 Notes

Patch 3.41 will bring a number of additions and refinements to Eorzea, including adjustments to Alexander: Midas (Savage).
Patch 3.41 Notes
As with other patches released after 3.0, patch 3.41 contains content that can only be accessed by registering FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:
- These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
- These additions and adjustments do not require the purchase of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
- These additions and adjustments contain elements that may require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
Battle System
Alexander: Midas (Savage) has been adjusted as follows:
- Players will now receive the power of the Echo.
The Echo will take effect upon entering Alexander: Midas (Savage), increasing players' maximum HP, damage dealt, and healing potency by 10%.
* Unlike other instances, the strength of the Echo will not increase in the event all party members are incapacitated.
Alexander - The Cuff of the Son (Savage)
- The potency of Mind Blast used by Blaster has been reduced.
- The range of Drainage used by Waterspout has been reduced.
Alexander - The Arm of the Son (Savage)
- Bomb explosions will no longer interrupt spellcasting.
- The duration of High Wire granted to Quickthinx Allthoughts has been reduced from 15 minutes to 30 seconds.
Alexander - The Burden of the Son (Savage)
- The potency of Mind Blast used by Blaster has been reduced.
- The range of Drainage used by Waterspout has been reduced.
- The potency of the Damage Up effect granted to Brute Justice has been reduced.
* The adjustments listed above will not be applied to the normal version of Alexander: Midas.
Items
The following items can now be discarded:
- Witch's Broom
- Pumpkin Butler
The following item names have been changed:
System
The party finder can now be used to recruit party members even if they do not meet the average item level requirement for a given duty.
* Please note only parties that meet the party member requirement for a duty may enter without meeting the average item level requirement.
The CUH-ZCT2J series of wireless DualShock®4 controllers is now supported on the Windows version.
* Please note that certain touchpad features are not supported.
Certain gaming devices are now supported on the Mac version.
Resolved Issues
- The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue in "Containment Bay P1T6" and "Containment Bay P1T6 (Extreme)" wherein the voice track was incorrectly set as a "Sound Effect."
- An issue in “Alexander - The Eyes of the Creator (Savage)” wherein the alarum would behave incorrectly when attacked by a pet or turret.
- An issue in "The Palace of the Dead" wherein a player affected by the palace cobra's "Devour" could not be targeted.
- An issue with "Wondrous Tails" wherein seals would sometimes not be received.
- An issue wherein the barrier effect rate listed in the help text for the astrologian action "Aspected Benefic" was incorrect.
* Please note that this was an error in the displayed text only. - An issue with the Party Finder wherein the average item level setting would reset to default whenever recruitment preferences were changed.
- An issue when using Collectable Synthesis wherein under certain conditions it was possible to perform synthesis actions again, even while the synthesis completion message window was displayed.
- An issue with shops wherein under certain circumstances it was possible to specify an amount to purchase on items for which this is not normally possible.
- An issue wherein the various counterfoils could not be exchanged with the Splendors Vendor NPC correctly.
- An issue wherein certain portions of the Inventory Grid were displayed incorrectly.
