Moonfire Faire is feeling HOT, HOT, HOT!

Greetings and salutations, Okieeomi here from the Community team.

This year we've seen scorching temperatures all around the globe--I work up a sweat simply thinking of the sweltering temperatures. To beat the heat, I suggest you grab your favorite electrolyte filled beverage with ice and sip away while playing FINAL FANTASY XIV from the comforts of the indoors.

Amid the blistering weather, this year's Moonfire Faire will feature ice cream to take on the heat! Let's take a closer look at the seasonal event, shall we?

Event Period:
Friday, August 13 at 1:00 a.m. to Thursday, August 26 at 7:59 (PDT)

How to Participate
Speak with Mayaru Moyaru at Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.5 Y:13.8) to begin.

Quest: Unseasonable Chills
Mayaru Moyaru will stop at nothing to see that you enjoy the seasonal festivities to the fullest.

Event Reward
New Mount: Polar Bear

Can you believe it? The new mount is a polar bear. Let me say it again, a polar bear.

How on Hydaelyn did it get here? Only the Twelve may know... I can't wait to try and unravel this mystery.

This bundle of fluff mount comes with a unique action, so be sure to take them along on your adventures!

New Outdoor Furnishing: Moonfire Mask Stall

This furnishing resembles the stalls that sell festive masks at Japanese summer festivals. Except this one is decked in Namazu and Moogle-themed masks; quite a fitting and detailed outdoor furnishing for any lawn this summer!

Pair it with previous Moonfire Faire event rewards, and we just might be able to hold our own summer festival in the wards!

Tabletop Furnishings: Costa del Hielo / Grilled Corn

Salty or sweet? Both look equally delicious and tempting....

Finally, for those who may not be aware, this Moonfire Faire will be accompanied by a beautiful display of fireworks painting the night sky. Be sure to take many screenshots with those dear to you this summer to commemorate this year's Moonfire Faire!

Stay cool this summer!
