Fashion ruts - how do I avoid them?

So I love playing dress-up, it's the whole reason I picked the game back up! I got my hands on the Uraeus coat and thought it made a fantastic Gunbreaker glamour. Now I'm leveling Red Mage and I think the coat looks fabulous in red. But... I can't always wear that coat all the time. So instead of a long coat - I went with the Anemos Jacket.(I want to take it out of it's wild west element and apply it differently.) I think having a glamour that's distinctive yet has elements of the class you are is important (though not the be all end all). What do you do when you feel your glamours are repetitive?
I do nothing! I have like 2 glamours I've worn since forever, haha. If glamour is the true endgame, I am definitely a casual. Lol.
There's something to say about being consistent for sure. Hey wait I thought housing was the true endgame!
That's really interesting! I really love the variety of the clothing in the game and when I see a new piece of glam, I like to try out different combinations around it. I recently got the Anemos Jacket too and once I had it put on, I went to the market board and just started trying out different pants! From there I'll keep in mind what it might look like with different shoes (Boots or short tops) and just play around from there!
I love the idea of taking pieces from different elements and crossing them together too! I thought the Anemos Jacket had a punk attitude and thought it went well with my character! Sometimes she feels lazy and wants to be comfy, sometimes fancy, and other times she can switch between pretty and kick ass! Theres alot of different ways of approaching it but I think being open to different possibilities is one way of exploring one fashion sense, IRL and FF! :D
*Oh, and different minions and mounts also have inspired me to approach things differently! Having different themes in mind such as attitude, color, feel, and mood while exploring different options is really fun while thrift shopping(Market Boarding)! :)
Thanks for the input! I find myself doing the same thing - trying parts at the market board until I find something that >clicks<. I find the most expensive glams aren't always the best!
