Character

It was a long journey, but she had at last arrived. Her homeland, full of adventure though it was, had become routine to her, its secrets plundered and mysteries unraveled. The cavernous maws, slowly but surely tearing away at the fabric of reality and opening gateways into new worlds, proved to be exactly what she was in search of. Treasures of the past left behind, into the gate she stepped, the path closing behind her. She would never see her land again, but she didn't mind. This other place, massive in scope, would become her new home.
