So I ended up in an Odin instance recently. You know the guy, absolute bitch for normal people to do and almost an EX level fight.........
Well that is what it USED to be. Now, NOT so much........
Man, they really, REALLY nerfed the poor guy. :(
He is now more in line with a normal 50 trial, nothing terribly hard. Hell, no one even DIED in the fight I did. WTF?
I remember the first time I did him back in the day when Heavensward was the current expansion. Odin was so hard, so scary for a non EX fight, it took a looong time to beat.. One party eventually gave up and another had FIVE wipes before we were able to defeat him, and even then it was really, REALLY close! (remember, non EX fight!) The guy back then was absolute HELL to beat with his AOEs and status effects.
Even recently before the nerfs Odin was still hard. He would kill unprepared parties and even wipe one once in a while. He was still almost an EX level fight, especially to newbies.
And oh God the MINE version. :O I have talked before about the hell THAT was to beat. Seriously, THREE hours to clear it! I wonder if the nerfs have affected that version of the fight.
But now he is nothing special, sigh. the hardness taken out of him. :( Oh well, at least I got to see the true version.
